Guitar is hard to pick up, easy to improve with, but some aspects are difficult to learn (sweeping, ie).

Guitar Hero is easy to pick up, easy to improve with, but hard to get this good.

Real guitar has the real-life aspect in it; something that COD and Guitar hero just doesn't have.

@FeastFactory it doesn't, but when people hear the rich tones of his guitar and amps then the thought of talent is much higher then one who has a cheap Chinese strat and crappy amp, that makes the tone nasty so people think that they suck. And yes his talent doesn't come from the equipment, but with the pro guitar tutors that sat down with him for hours to show him step by step how to pluck a string. Im just saying someone held his hand through the hardest part of the trial.
