This was kind of interesting. I found this a bit, but in a different way. I had friends who always wanted to hit clubs, and I had friends who like gigs and house parties. The way that would go, would be that we'd start drinking at someone's place, go to the gig - chill there, then everyone would go to some other house. Usually with a lot more people. The regular clubs were never my thing, and I've always loved live music - so this group was a good kind of mix of everything for me.

I was in highschool during those years! lol A lot of my friends were male and mixture of races..so we did everything..hang at a friends house drinking or go out and meet people. My girlfriends and I did the cruising thing once in awhile (LAME!) but we went to clubs, parties and sometimes just stayed in like you said. (in my 20s) Pretty sure it's about the same with ppl today..parties at friends houses, clubs and hovering in parking lots together to socialize..
