also there is major flaw in the description, most tax money spent goes to other Americans in that they are government workers or contractors. Wouldn't it be weird to you if all of it went to interest?
Most tax money goes to other Americans in the form of free money, not as payments to government workers & contractors for services rendered. Are most Social Security and Medicaid recipients government workers or contractors? No.
Perhaps from your perspective, the Left won't triumph until the wealth is distributed equally among all persons. That's impossible - even in North Korea or Cuba there's always a ruling elite who have far more wealth than the average citizens, most of whom are equally poor. In the U.S., were the top 1 percent's wealth to be redistributed equally, there eventually would be little wealth to distribute because most of the wealth creators would be disincentivized from producing any more wealth.
@policydynamics and the people at the bottom wouldn't create wealth themselves? why do they have to be dependent upon the very wealthy to provide for them. aren't you assuming that only the top 1% are the sole creators of wealth?
Most of the people at the bottom are dependent on higher-income people to provide them jobs - and/or on the government to provide them with income. Most entrepreneurs and business owners -- the principal wealth-creators - aren't among the poor (and not among the top 1% - but the top 50%). No, the poor don't have to be dependent on the wealthy to provide for them; they can start their own business. And then it may turn out they wouldn't be poor anymore - and become wealthy! And envied!
