I do love the piano sound he had in 1984. Helpinstill pickups but seriously compressed and EQ'd and really cut through the band even in the mid range and bass

First live gig I ever saw was Elton at the ,then,Ardwick Apollo Manchester in Dec 85. Seen loads of massive names since then. Nothing better than seeing a massive world-famous name up there on stage singing world famous songs. Roger Waters-The Wall live is my next one.

If you saw him live in the 70's or the 80's then you really saw something., The entire band was a killer outfit. Elton ruled the world there for awhile.
