We don't get this in Australia unless the building will take longer than a few months to demolish which usually isn't the case when they just plough into it with a big arse wrecking ball, otherwise they cut all the main joins and lift the pieces out and re-use them somewhere

I don't know why I remember this but I know exactly what I was doing when this happened. I was making raviolis, listening to music from 1980 (when the hotel opened), and trying to get a live feed working, but I couldn't. Oh well.

What a waste of material tearing down these hotels is.

It isn't that old.

It is interesting that to entertain people with the concept of wasting materials they feel it necessary to "put on a show". It is a distraction.

And yes WTC7 was a sham.

I'm not impressed with wasteful building in Lasvegas, N.J., or anywhere else.

I like at the end here, people quickly shuffle off to avoid the asbestos plume.

the best video is from cramtinkly. its taken from the side of the building where the fireworks were. complete with music - awesome. I was there, but viewed it from the borgata which was too far away. Sad to see the sands go. i liked that place although i lost a lot money there. it hurt to see all my money go 'up in smoke'.
