  • thats what i loved in the show .no special effects just great acting and pure horror.

  • If this had been one of the non-murderous Alfred Hitchcock shows, I'll bet he would have had something pithy to say at the end. If it had been a Twilight Zone, Rod Serling might have said something to the effect of, "You've just watched one way for a woman to free herself, and if you reallly believe a ghost came 'round for her, then you're operating an old stand, ...in the Twilight Zone...

  • I love these old shows, they are great. Thanks so much for posting.

  • The late great Robert Douglas, together here with Maria Palmer, just on the cusp of a prolific TV directing career after having acted in films from 1931 !! He emigrated from the UK in 1947, and so was cherished more by the US as a result. It makes for lonely hero-worship when none of your peer group has even heard of him, so cheers for this 3 part video. A great opportunity for me to see some of his US work.

  • Come away oh human child

To the waters and the wild

With a faery hand in hand

For the world's more full of weeping

    Than he can understand
