i ssooo curious. how the hell do you guys judge the timing on your flips? like how do you not belly flop or back flop? is there a strategy?

@Cakeries im wearing the flower print shorts and when i do my round off thingy im actually tracking myself down the cliff and the water and if i dont time it right i can tuck in and speed up my rotation and if im too fast i can hold it longer. it also comes with jumping multiple times, you get used to it and more comfortable. :)

@crzysnobrder I think that other things that help are just experience and doing a lot ! I started off with doing gainers off small cliffs then went big after i got comfortable :D Like this video by the way dude!

@Cakeries i started out on tramp then started doing back flips on ground then did back flips into pool after you do it so many times it just comes natural to not belly flop unless your trying to do more than 1 flip on 1 jump sometimes ill mess that up

that's definitely less than 60-70 feet. The camera setting makes things look farther away, because it's slightly fish-eyed. But still great jumps and nice vid. Just don't exaggerate the height :)

@crzysnobrder I can't verify that, considering I MEASURED (with a 100' rope) the tall one at 53' no BS (about 35' for the bottom one). I was told the upper one was 80 and believed it at first too. Still a long way down though. VERY FUN

Don't need shoes, the only hard part of the water is unbroken water, and its really soft as soon as its broken.

So as long as you break it with your tip toes then the rest is smooth sailing... same reason why you put your arms in front of you when you dive.

These flips are nice, but not very complex at all compared to some sports. Have you checked out skiing/snowboarding/inline/tra­mpolining? double and triple flips with up to 1620 rotations on or off axis o_o that shit is crazy.

Very nice video and some nice jumps too. FYI the cliff hight is 55 and 1/2 feet. I live here at the lake and it should also be noted that many injuries occur here each year just from hitting the water wrong. I have pulled 2 dead bodies from this lake and seen numerous broken and sprained backs, dislocated shoulders and knees... Please be cautious and take it seriously, it may not be worth the risk.
