  • Watch Terrence Mallick's "Days of Heaven" --the film's score uses this part of Saint Saens' piece to great effect!

  • I just love the music, it sounds like music from a music box, I came here because the song was used in a documentary for how cinematography was done/

  • superb

  • the last shot is epic.

  • great concept

  • Guter Kurzfilm

  • Keep it up! Sweet idea!

  • I loved this.

  • nicely made

  • I love this song! its so mystical!!

  • sympa, je m'attendais pas à la fin !! :)

  • was looking at different versions of aquarium on youtube and found your video, a great story and fits perfectly with this music, really beautiful and eerie. Like!

  • great man :) the music worth a lot on that project :D ... the aquarium is soo cool to hear

  • that was really good... :-)

  • perfektly!

  • so beautiful indeed! :)

  • Ditto with the accolades, I think I posted something earlier voicing my appreciation for the cinematography and so on but I'll say good job again here just in case: brilliant work!

Good choice of recording, this is probably the best performance I've heard for Aquarium, what recording did it come from/who conducted it?

Also, does the walking guy get credited at the end or was he the writer and director too?

  • @OfGreatLakes Thanks. Not sure on the recording... The walking guy is me the writer/director.

  • that made me sad...how could she do that to him? Letting the necklace gets picked up by the tide? now he`ll never be free... :(

  • That was really nice, very interesting, I liked the idea with the necklace, and her coming out of the sea was brilliant. Beautifully done and nice choice in using 'Aquarium'.

  • i don't get it? what was the point of this video? theme? oh my...

  • The theme we decided to choose (from a list of themes provided in a book on film theory) is "Put classical music to abstract and experimental images and hope to get into a film festival"

Needless to say we got this into the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

  • LOL... so true.

  • that's excellent!!!!!

  • to be honiest.......great.......really great

  • lovely cinematography. What kind of camera did you shoot this with?

  • If you wont hate me for critisizing, this was a little amature. They took the necklace on and off and on and off for a gizilion times throught the video.. it was almost disturbing. Other than that I like the style of filming and all. It was easy for the eyes, loved the use of lights, and colors...

  • taking it on and off was the whole story you dumbass

  • @mbenson2790 you dumbass that was a critic if you cant take it then dont allow anyone to comment. yes it was the whole story which is the most meaningless story ive ever seen. >_>

  • @kznck yeah it was a waste of time, but i have no power over who comments on here, nor do i care, it isn't my video.

  • best video EVARRRR... but seriously way good.

  • This is the same song that was used for the "Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons" trailer.

  • Uhm, nope. I don't know what trailer you're watching though. BUT they did use it in like 100 BILLION movies.

And next time you're bored check out the trailer for the movie "babe" tell me what music they used there.

  • This was beautiful.

But...what do we learn from it?

  • I really enjoyed that, that was actually very inventive.

What did we learn you ask?

    Well well well....

Its obviously saying you can never trust a woman...

Especially if they come out of the sea like that.

  • HAHAHAHA!

  • Umm... heh...she's been watching that solitary dreamer: this is their first Meeting....they will meet again perhaps eternally....she's the mermaid of the mind....

  • Wow! Your video is amazing!!

  • Can someone tell me the name of the song

  • its at the top.... Aquarium by sain saens. Part of Carnival of the animals.
