Ditto with the accolades, I think I posted something earlier voicing my appreciation for the cinematography and so on but I'll say good job again here just in case: brilliant work!
Good choice of recording, this is probably the best performance I've heard for Aquarium, what recording did it come from/who conducted it?
Also, does the walking guy get credited at the end or was he the writer and director too?
That was really nice, very interesting, I liked the idea with the necklace, and her coming out of the sea was brilliant. Beautifully done and nice choice in using 'Aquarium'.
The theme we decided to choose (from a list of themes provided in a book on film theory) is "Put classical music to abstract and experimental images and hope to get into a film festival"
Needless to say we got this into the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
If you wont hate me for critisizing, this was a little amature. They took the necklace on and off and on and off for a gizilion times throught the video.. it was almost disturbing. Other than that I like the style of filming and all. It was easy for the eyes, loved the use of lights, and colors...
@mbenson2790 you dumbass that was a critic if you cant take it then dont allow anyone to comment. yes it was the whole story which is the most meaningless story ive ever seen. >_>
Umm... heh...she's been watching that solitary dreamer: this is their first Meeting....they will meet again perhaps eternally....she's the mermaid of the mind....
Watch Terrence Mallick's "Days of Heaven" --the film's score uses this part of Saint Saens' piece to great effect!

I just love the music, it sounds like music from a music box, I came here because the song was used in a documentary for how cinematography was done/

@OfGreatLakes Thanks. Not sure on the recording... The walking guy is me the writer/director.

that made me sad...how could she do that to him? Letting the necklace gets picked up by the tide? now he`ll never be free... :(

This is the same song that was used for the "Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons" trailer.
garcia207 2 years ago
Uhm, nope. I don't know what trailer you're watching though. BUT they did use it in like 100 BILLION movies.
And next time you're bored check out the trailer for the movie "babe" tell me what music they used there.

This was beautiful.
But...what do we learn from it?
Carminesilano 2 years ago
I really enjoyed that, that was actually very inventive.
What did we learn you ask?
Well well well....
Its obviously saying you can never trust a woman...
Especially if they come out of the sea like that.
