Doesn't that take the discreetness right of it? There is nothing meek and humble about the entire nature of the JW's. But I can't speak for the many sincere Witnesses out there that truly don't know any better. I used to be one. But Jesus has found me, for he loved us first.The emptiness in my heart is filled!

@imissnepal Well, Im quite nervous. I did try and tape myself playing keep your eyes on the prize but I kept messing up and retaping just because the camera was on me. If it's just me, it comes out smooth. I have one video of me playing clare de lune. Its been up for a couple years now on youtube. I pretty much whipped through it just to get it done and over with.

This is the best rendition of this song that I have ever heard and it is my favorite. Its funny that haters would even comment on something meant to praise Jehovah Almighty, if you dont like HIM then dont listen to, subscribe or watch these videos, its as simple as that, you can still have your opinion. You are exactly right!! "speaks through his word" but witnesses through they're personal study will relate what they learn! (same as most people who are excited about what they learn lol) The watchtower breaks down different subjects threw the bible for you... so you are not totally overwhelmed when trying to read and learn your bible. Scriptures throughout to support them :) "trust in Jehovah with all your heart and do not lean upon your own understanding" Trust is what its all about haha

I don't believe Jehovah speaks through the Witnesses. He speaks through his word and personal study of the Bible, not the Watchtower. And for the record, I never said they were boring. My grandparents are missionaries and I have picked their brains as far as the Witnesses are concerned. They are just a man made religion. But I do not wish to discourage anyone from attending, It's not for me.
you just need to want the information at the meetings enough to worship Jehovah the way HE wants to be worshipped..hear what Jehovah has to say and don't focus just on the boring people, they are his vessel and he chooses imperfect human to convey his message which is anything but boring. Your life depends on this spiritual food, "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you....John 17:3 Give the brothers a few pointers on being less boring!!
i know its the truth but i find the meetings really boring and i dont really get on with most of the people in the hall but you have to make the truth your own
if you find the meetings boring like me or dont get on with other people in the hall then jehovah knows this and if you do go to the meetings even if its just for the first half then jehovah knows you find it boring or that your struggling putting up with some of the idiots and sees that your trying your best

The more I read the bible and the more I prayed , the more Jehovah through his only begotten son Jesus spoke to me. I believe the kingdom hall is a great stepping stone of spirituality. It reminds me of the words of Paul in 1 Cor 3:1-3 to be continued.............

That's very nice - and brothers and sisters remember its more important to be positive and ENCOURAGING to those that are friendly to the truth than critical. Someone that plays so beautifully and chose such a lovely song has something very good in his heart, something Jehovah sees and will nurture one day.

As for fellow witnesses...some are nice but others seem sorta self-righteous. I'm not criticizing you but you said: Peace to all those that are friends of the friends. I thought your song was beautiful. As for the comments about hair and beards and appearances, JW's strive to keep their reputation clean cut. You wouldn't want to see some man with long nappy hair and a blotchy beard come to your door would you? Or for that a matter an unbrushed crazy haired lady? The bible states that we chould be kept clean, and appearances are VERY impotant on how you view a well groomed person.

@gideonz74b dont know how you felt your mind was controlled, in the truth we are always given a choice and are never forced to do anything. Jehovah is never controlling, even though he has the right to be if he wished to, as he created us, that should be reason enough alone, for us to do as he likes. However he chose to give us free will, and all guidance we are given come from the Bible, not individual brothers. Sometimes though mistakes happen and that is because we are all imperfect.
@jaz11mataz : Mind control comes in many forms. The most evil one is the one where you are made to believe there is no mind control. Listen carefully to how Witnesses express from stage. "YOU don't want to disappoint...", or "isn't it an honor to preach?", or "isn't it a blessing from Jehovah that.." FREE WILL means that people can think for THEMSELVES if they want to feel something. The worst example is the fear the organization gives for leaving, that you'll lose all your "friends".

Have the Witnesses really changed this much since the 90s? Beards and long hair were banned when I went to the KH. As was doing your own interpretations of Kingdom songs. We had an item at the assembly warning against that. Nice playing by the the way.

1 Corinthians says does not "nature" teach you. Nature is what is natural to one's conscience. It does not say what "Jehovah" teaches you. Samson was intstructed not to cut his hair. Jehovah judges our Hearts, not our hair. However, if it offends another Christian, a loving one would change so as not to offend those Jehovah loves. Then again one who loves Jehovah -- cannot be offended. His love is for Jehovah and Worshop is for and to Jehovah. No one else.

I'm sure you love Jesus, and I'm pretty sure that he will love you so much if you obey the bible that was written by His father :) (John 4:34). @mrIlovesunglasses Well the reason the hair issue is only mentioned once very briefly in the entire Bible is because it was only a problem for the Corinths during Paul's time. Men with long hair and women who shaved their heads were doing so in defiance. Times have changed, kind of like how men don't wear robes and sandals,show up to church on a horse, or read the Bible from a scroll. so on and so forth.

Over the years I have watched hundreds CONFORM THEIR life to reflect Jehovah's standard rather than expecting Jehovah's organization to lower their standards to yours.

The identifying mark of Jehovah's people is LOVE but we are also NO PART OF THIS WORLD. You can usually pick out Jehovah's people by their modest dress and clean non-worldly appearance. Shave the face and bring praise to Jehovah.

How does the hair that Jehovah designed to be grown on my face being shaved or not, affect my praise to him? And lastly, How does a man telling another man to shave his face on a public platform reflect Love? Whether we wear modest clothes or not, shave our face or not, cut our hair or not, the only way to CHOOSE to be "not of this world" is the way we TREAT one another. Period.

That was beautiful. I grew up singing this song, with my family, and not just at the Kingdom Hall. Thanks for saying JW's are amazing people, because I am one of them. Did you know that you bring praise to Jehovah by playing these songs? It is a part of our worship to Him. Long hair or not, you are always welcome at our Kingdom Halls. You just can't preach door to door with long hair, that's all! We conform to certain standards, so that we are always recognized as Jehovah's people, and no other.

@imissnepal Well, Im quite nervous. I did try and tape myself playing keep your eyes on the prize but I kept messing up and retaping just because the camera was on me. If it's just me, it comes out smooth. I have one video of me playing clare de lune. Its been up for a couple years now on youtube. I pretty much whipped through it just to get it done and over with.

This is the best rendition of this song that I have ever heard and it is my favorite. Its funny that haters would even comment on something meant to praise Jehovah Almighty, if you dont like HIM then dont listen to, subscribe or watch these videos, its as simple as that, you can still have your opinion. You are exactly right!! "speaks through his word" but witnesses through they're personal study will relate what they learn! (same as most people who are excited about what they learn lol) The watchtower breaks down different subjects threw the bible for you... so you are not totally overwhelmed when trying to read and learn your bible. Scriptures throughout to support them :) "trust in Jehovah with all your heart and do not lean upon your own understanding" Trust is what its all about haha

I don't believe Jehovah speaks through the Witnesses. He speaks through his word and personal study of the Bible, not the Watchtower. And for the record, I never said they were boring. My grandparents are missionaries and I have picked their brains as far as the Witnesses are concerned. They are just a man made religion. But I do not wish to discourage anyone from attending, It's not for me.

you just need to want the information at the meetings enough to worship Jehovah the way HE wants to be worshipped..hear what Jehovah has to say and don't focus just on the boring people, they are his vessel and he chooses imperfect human to convey his message which is anything but boring. i know its the truth but i find the meetings really boring and i dont really get on with most of the people in the hall but you have to make the truth your own
if you find the meetings boring like me or dont get on with other people in the hall then jehovah knows this and if you do go to the meetings even if its just for the first half then jehovah knows you find it boring or that your struggling putting up with some of the idiots and sees that your trying your best

The more I read the bible and the more I prayed , the more Jehovah through his only begotten son Jesus spoke to me. I believe the kingdom hall is a great stepping stone of spirituality. That's very nice - and brothers and sisters remember its more important to be positive and ENCOURAGING to those that are friendly to the truth than critical. Someone that plays so beautifully and chose such a lovely song has something very good in his heart, something Jehovah sees and will nurture one day.

As for fellow witnesses...some are nice but others seem sorta self-righteous. I'm not criticizing you but you said: Peace to all those that are friends of the friends. And that's what all witnesses say and think.

I thought your song was beautiful. As for the comments about hair and beards and appearances, JW's strive to keep their reputation clean cut. You wouldn't want to see some man with long nappy hair and a blotchy beard come to your door would you? Or for that a matter an unbrushed crazy haired lady? The bible states that we chould be kept clean, and appearances are VERY impotant on how you view a well groomed person.

NO, Jehovahs standards NEVER EVER change, and we would still be advised to not draw unnecessary attention on ourselves by doing our own covers of our songs of praise. Dont believe everything you see on here and do not let it influence your opinion of what our standards are now, they are the same as in the 90's. Sometimes people do things they are not supposed to!

@gideonz74b dont know how you felt your mind was controlled, in the truth we are always given a choice and are never forced to do anything. Jehovah is never controlling, even though he has the right to be if he wished to, as he created us, that should be reason enough alone, for us to do as he likes. However he chose to give us free will, and all guidance we are given come from the Bible, not individual brothers. Sometimes though mistakes happen and that is because we are all imperfect.

@jaz11mataz : Mind control comes in many forms. The most evil one is the one where you are made to believe there is no mind control. Listen carefully to how Witnesses express from stage. "YOU don't want to disappoint...", or "isn't it an honor to preach?", or "isn't it a blessing from Jehovah that.." FREE WILL means that people can think for THEMSELVES if they want to feel something. The worst example is the fear the organization gives for leaving, that you'll lose all your "friends".

Have the Witnesses really changed this much since the 90s? Beards and long hair were banned when I went to the KH. As was doing your own interpretations of Kingdom songs. We had an item at the assembly warning against that. Nice playing by the the way.

1 Corinthians says does not "nature" teach you. Nature is what is natural to one's conscience. It does not say what "Jehovah" teaches you. Samson was intstructed not to cut his hair. Jehovah judges our Hearts, not our hair. However, if it offends another Christian, a loving one would change so as not to offend those Jehovah loves. Then again one who loves Jehovah -- cannot be offended. His love is for Jehovah and Worshop is for and to Jehovah. No one else.

I'm sure you love Jesus, and I'm pretty sure that he will love you so much if you obey the bible that was written by His father :) (John 4:34). @mrIlovesunglasses Well the reason the hair issue is only mentioned once very briefly in the entire Bible is because it was only a problem for the Corinths during Paul's time. Men with long hair and women who shaved their heads were doing so in defiance. Times have changed, kind of like how men don't wear robes and sandals,show up to church on a horse, or read the Bible from a scroll. so on and so forth.

The identifying mark of Jehovah's people is LOVE but we are also NO PART OF THIS WORLD. You can usually pick out Jehovah's people by their modest dress and clean non-worldly appearance. Shave the face and bring praise to Jehovah.

I love your rendition of my favorite kingdom melody. i now have a few favorites in the new song book. I am a faithful servant of Jehovah and I appreciate your rendition. Please ignore the negativity. Ephesians 4:20 states, "But YOU did not learn the Christ to be so.” Jesus would never make a comment like some that I have seen on here. Please do not identify this behavior with something Jehovah approves. Thanks… cant wait to hear more!

@imissnepal ha thats really good man, i never ever question a persons heart and i can see you do have a great heart thanks for this post as i miss this one at the meetings and jehovah is a great god and the only one keep up the fine work bro much respect and dont let anybody in this world get you down most people (even our brothers and sisters) try to take each other down a peg, my mom usualy is in constant competish with a sister in our hall on who dresses nicer or something else i find it

Beautiful, my first song I learned as a jw. It made my eyes fill and overflow with tears the first time I saw ev1 sing it at the hall. It still makes my heart beat rejoicfully and takes my breath away. I love your version. Bellissimo!

Wow...very good. I listened to one of your other songs. You sing well also. My son has longer hair too and they call him Sampson at the hall sometimes. I am just glad he is there. I agree...do more please.

@imissnepal I was just logging on here to ask you. Congratulations! Does it seem like he has been there all along? That is how I felt about my son after a couple of weeks. Seemed like I couldn't remember life without him. I think that fresh baby scent does something to your brain lol. 7 lbs is a great weight. My son was 9 1/2 lbs. UGH! Hope everyone is getting enough sleep.

That was beautiful. I grew up singing this song, with my family, and not just at the Kingdom Hall. Thanks for saying JW's are amazing people, because I am one of them. Did you know that you bring praise to Jehovah by playing these songs? It is a part of our worship to Him. Long hair or not, you are always welcome at our Kingdom Halls. You just can't preach door to door with long hair, that's all! We conform to certain standards, so that we are always recognized as Jehovah's people, and no other.

@KaiHiwatariStudios1 Yes i now. To them Long hair on man= "Worldy". Which in JW lingo means, Jehovahs does not approve, and that you will not be living in a paraise on earth for eternity. But I would still have to agree, that most JW's are amazing people.
