  • I <3 morrighan, she's one of the many great goddesses. I'm proud to be the "daughter" of morrighan

  • I love this song does anyone know whom the female vocalist is, and if she has any solo albums out she has an amazing voice :-)

  • If I am not mistaken she is also a war goddess. but then many of the Celtic gods and goddess have a war aspect

  • This is so sad, but beautiful. Violence solves nothing, everyone, and the sooner we get that through our heads, the happier we'll all be.

  • Absolutly love this song

  • Morrighan is the Irish Goddess of magic and death.Michelle Skye's book Goddess Alive will tell you about her and if you Google her you'll find information on her. I identify with her so my chosen path name is Lady Morrighan.

    Blessed Be!

  • I love this song. And it's true. We take so much, then fight over it. We give little, and we fight over that too. The world is waiting for us to realize that fighting isn't an answer. We need to make peace, and unite the nations. Who cares if we don't believe the same? Who cares if we're different. We need to acknowledge those differences positively. The bullies at school, to the army. Are we all that different? Work together, and don't hurt others. Morrighan is watching. And she doesn't like it

  • I've always like morrighan. she reminds me of me.... i have been around a lot of destruction. I have washed blood from those who have been in fights.... i'm always around when a fight breaks out. I will always watch those who fight without reason. Why, do i feel like i am so completely intuned with her.... my friends have even mentioned how i'm aways acting like morrighan. I wonder if thats a good thing

  • @thebleedingrose101 I think it's a good thing. I am intuned too.

  • this song is wonderful.we worked with morrigan in our coven.

  • Another epic song from the Bard himself... this one always sends shivers down my spine. Does anyone know who is the lady singing?

  • Pet peeve: Morrigain has the accent on the second syllable. Mor-EE-gen.

  • Another wonderful song from Damh.... This song sends shivers up my spine. Really fitting for the Morrighan...

Who is the lady singing with him? She has a beautiful voice.

  • @morrighan1999 there's another one, by Omnia - Morrigan

  • The Morrighan is much forgotten these days but still holds great power taking warriors away. May her black wings be blessed.

  • @morrighan1999 Wow, that's a fantastic name! Morrighan's a very strong and admirable figure, I'd be very proud of that name. :P

  • @morrighan1999

    ...

Um... Actually, the Morrighan he's talking about is a Celtic valkyrie-like goddess.

But yeah, you're named after a goddess though! :D

  • Oh Morrighan how I miss you. Take me in to battle again soon.

  • Damh Ben Beirdd if you agree Damh desirves this title vote up or commit on why not

  • yes a great and very nice song ilove it but morrighan ist not everytime nice but evreytime powerfull and i love her.

  • yes the song is very nice but morrighan is not everytime nice ;) if you understand what i mean, but she is very powerfull .

  • One thing that's great about all these pagan cultures. It's the same Gods, yet different interpretations in different cultures. This leads me to believe they are very true.

  • WOW every song I heard from this Bard is incredible. You do Merlin justice.

  • @AuberonDraenenWen Also while I do agree she is no hearts and flowers I really do feel that she would be displeased with modern warfare as there is just no honor it.

  • @AuberonDraenenWen : There is actually a LOT more to her than death and war. There is the fact she is the patron of cattle, this being a very strong link in with fertility and motherhood and the land. Also she is strongly tied to rivers, another very life giving aspect. There is also the fact she is heavily tied into the fae. Yes she is a goddess of a war but it is her job to bear the souls of the slain of either side to the after life (one of the reasons she ties into the mythos of Valkirys')

  • She is one of my patron Deities

  • @AuberonDraenenWen Damh is an inspired bard. This song is based on HIS relationship with the Morrigan and how they present themselves to him.

  • I never tire of this song.

  • I need to learn more about the Morrighan...

This song gives me shivers.. Very nice.

  • @spellspinner777 She's the ancient Irish goddess of War, Death, and Sovereignty.

Or, in other words, the original badass.

  • Chilling , I have goose bumps but in a good way.

  • 'And the will of man lies heavy on this land'

Thx for posting this, Damh spreads his blessings well

    Blessed be )O(
