But thats pretty wayne...cuz the bike will always be just as good as the rider...A experienced chopper driver can overtake every unexperienced sportbike drivers.
Difference is the engine size... R6 = 600cc and the R1 = 1000 cc. That makes the R1 a little bit faster, but heavier. The R6 is still fast after driving it for 1 year (max 260km/h). R6 is lighter so it is easier to handle it at low speeds. R6 has 123 hp for the 2004 model, 2009 model has 130. R1 has about 180-200 hp I guess. If you are new in motorcycling choose the R6, it is more than enough and FAST if you just got your driving license.
