    id use something that feels like 30lbs on your back.

  • i do 1/4 barbell squat jumps with 15-30%RM. i also use xvest in my jump drills (first half of training with, 2nd half without)

  • Whatever happened to good old fashioned plyometrics?

  • plyometric strength or reflexive strength training is another thing. loaded paused jump squats are for starting strength. basically improving your explosive power without taping into the plyometric reflex.

  • nice young fella, I did those with 400 on a sitting leg press. now 220 on the same machine you workin. But i'm 6'8 so that's a little different

  • i need one of those to help my vertical jump, think i could find one at the sports section in a store?
