Whats the recommended weight for these if your max free weight squat is about 300?

id use something that feels like 30lbs on your back.

do this wit a barbell with about 30-50% max squat

i do 1/4 barbell squat jumps with 15-30%RM. i also use xvest in my jump drills (first half of training with, 2nd half without)

Whatever happened to good old fashioned plyometrics?

plyometric strength or reflexive strength training is another thing. loaded paused jump squats are for starting strength. basically improving your explosive power without taping into the plyometric reflex.

nice young fella, I did those with 400 on a sitting leg press. now 220 on the same machine you workin. But i'm 6'8 so that's a little different
