The fx is 280 crank hp but only gets like 260 to the wheels RWD and 220 to the wheels AWD...and weighs a hell of a lot more haha

all about power to weight. It's weird though...i've beaaten cars faster than a camry...

thats crank hp, sub track about 50hp, and you end up 220hp & 230 whp for both, my solara's put out 285 & 291 whp, so if we do crank hp my 2000 lara would be about 335hp & my 02 lara 340hp, so what im saying is you guys need way more mods, and your slow............

Does the guy bellow me understand that HP to weight ratio is why this thing does so poorly compare to the Camry. It's an SUV.. Suv's always have pretty high HP compared to a sedan.

The FX is quick for an SUV. I've heard of these Camry's getting 5.8's.

Not saying I dont like the FX. The camry pulls because of it's weight ratio and the way it's engine outputs HP. The FX most likely has lots of TQ. Idk why in the first place compare these two vehicles. lol

Infiniti designed FX35 as a crossover, and they know how to engineer...the FX35 comes in manumatic, i DOUBT he used it..but even without the manual mode, i think the FX35 shouldve won..you'd have to floor one to see what i mean...the car like..as soon as you floor it it JUMPS.

Was the driver on the FX35 holding back? I drive an FX and it's engine is so powerful that once I tried flooring the gas on a freeway, it feels like being kicked hard from the back. The FX35 just jumps and overtooks cars of all make ahead of me.
