He 1st appeared in Sonic heroes when Dr. Eggman locked him in a room with Shadow. Rouge awakened him and Shadow in Sonic Heroes in the team Dark storyline. His full name is E123 Omega. And yes he is related to all other E-Series robots. Omega reapeared in Shadow the Hedgehog and his last appearence is in Sonic 06.
Sonic 06 sucked huge balls. The saving system was so bad that I never got passed the first level because I was too frustrated being forced to play the same shit over and over again. The only reason I got it was for Shadow, and I couldn't even get to the fucking part where I can play as him. Good song though.
one of the best things about the original was that it immediately started (there was no into) and that riff at the beginning of the original was amazing yet it's completely gone here

@CrystalShine299 it had a lot of potential, but Sega sort of blew it. And now that it has gotten such a bad rep, not many people would buy a sequel. Thus, to prevent wasting money, sega won't do this.
@Hyakubi205 I see where you're coming from there. But I don't know if you've noticed - following the release of Colours and Generations, Sonic's getting a little more popular again. Maybe a remake of Sonic 06 would have potential, but I think SEGA would have to make a few more really good games before they take that risk. I know I'd love to see a remake of this game!! :D

@IDyce88 In a storyline diagram, the plot and the characters in the plot are separate beings. You can exclude one without the other. Silver and Mephiles had the potential to be good characters, but the way they were used was foolish and gave way to poor character development and various plot holes. The Archie comics are a prime example of how to do a proper Silver the Hedgehog character.
@TheVader2 doing a comic is very different from doing a game, for one thing you have ages to tell a character's story in a comic, but in a game u have to make silver look good quickly

Sonic 06 was great, my only issue with it was the silver gameplay and the insane load times. If not for that it would have been awesome. Silver is a decent enough character but his gameplay was just so boring and tedious.

SEGA and Sonic Team were put on a schedule that was originally reasonable, but then they were rushed towards the end of the holiday season. The only things I see wrong with the game are:
1: Physics & Character Handling
2: Glitches
3: Loading Sequences

@TheKingultraOmega Personally I don't find anything wrong with 06. Solaris is my #1 favorite final boss fight. My #2 is Time Eater from Generations and Perfect Dark Gaia from Sonic Unleashed. Don't you think Shadow should be made a playable character again? Shadow NEEDS another game with a bigger role. Sliver was fine and all songs in 06 outdid the gameplay for most people. I like 06 but I don't know why:)

@multivewer IMO this game deserves at least a rent, it gets a lot of hate but the untold flip side to this is that it does have a fair number of fans too, it's worth a rent if you don't like it take it back, if you do then buy it. Generations can really only be good to someone familiar to Sonic games already,not that it isn't good but I doubt it's drawn many new people into the franchise (classic fans don't count as new fans)

@Dedrial Correct you are. I played Shadow the Hedgehog myself and I personally think this is the better version. This song is catchier. I will not lie and say this isn't the 1st time this song appeared. Because of Generations this is more appealing to most people. I favoured this song BEFORE Generations was even advertised.

I agree. The original Shadow the Hedgehog was crap, but the idea had a lot of potential. A sequel that fixes the issues of the first game and keeps the awesome music would be amazing.
