There has been a long standing piece of tabloid news (take it at face value) that the police believe they recovered the murder weapon years ago. A garden tool that Ottis owned, which was covered with blood.

Well, back then there was no such thing as a DNA test.

To put this case to true rest, if such an item like that garden tool exists, it most likely is in the possession of the Hollywood Police Department. If there is any DNA on said tool, just test it to see if the Walsh family is a match.

People get convicted everyday on circumstantial evidence. This case is no different. After looking at all the available evidence, the police and other investigators were convinced Toole did it. Having the blood stained carpet would have been good to have, but in a court of law, the prosecution wouldn't have needed it to convict him.

From following the case for years, doing research and viewing, reading and listening to all available media, I can say with confidence that you are wrong. There was physical evidence linking Toole to the case. One of the most critical pieces is that they found Adam's shoe in Tooles possesions. I will let you research the rest for yourself. It will take some time, but if you put in the work, you will see that he was guilty.

I have researched the case more than most and when you remove Toole's testimony (which wasn't worth a penny) there is absolutely nothing connecting him to the Adam Walsh murder.

They did NOT find Adam's shoe in Toole's possession. They found a sandal at Toole's home. Was it Adam's? They also found shorts there. Were they Adam's?

If you have evidence that the police who investigated the case do not have, please notify them.
