Is it just me, or is this ending a massive ripoff of WarGames?
Anyhoo, the game itself isn't bad, but it's way too hard for its own good, especially the bit about each character having their specific uses but only one life per play. For example, it gets incredibly sucky when Grant's dead but there's an electronic lock shortcut you can take.
This game really lived up to its name. I have no idea how I was able to finish it as a kid, I just played it through on an emulator and almost gave up - even when using save state.

I remember, like the comment below this says that as a kid I had the super mario/ duck hunt combo and my friend had this game.

This game was too difficult, way too hard for a bloody NES game! It used to make me want to break the computer out of frustration!
You must be one of the few people in the world with the brain power, game skills and patience to complete this game.
