Sony only makes sucky ps3... anyway, the xbox 360 is (i think) the best console there is. it has just a bit better graphics than ps3, but it doesn't have 50 types of errors and the internet runs a lot smoother. But if you dont have a internet receiver next to your console, you are forced to buy a wireless connection and that sucks (well i dont know if they still suck, but they sucked in the past)...

It's true that some 360s break the discs (if you note that it breaks the disc you could also install the game on the hard drive), but i've never heard of overheating with the Xbox... =P

xbox 360's are the best consoles. i hate people who think the ps3 is better becuase we can get red rings of death , therefore you make sure the xbox doesnt over heat or buy the cooling fan! the online play is much better too. and the configuration. xbox rules.

It depends on the type of games you like. Basically, its personal choice. The PS3 and the 360 are both great consoles but both have their weaknesses(Red Ring of Death , Yellow Light of Doom). I prefer the 360 for the games and the controller ergonomics but the PS3 is good too.

I can tell you that! There is so much fanboy argument because XBOX took a turn for the worst with Microsoft, and Playstation fanboys are more concerned with you (the consumer). They understand what microsoft does and they want to bad mouth them out of your bedroom and for good reason. Compare the prices and actual use and origionality of both consoles. Granted, there are pros and cons and they equal eachother. But a PS3 slim is ONE FLAT RATE OF $299 Because Sony wants happy customers not slaves.

I have a PS3 and i will stick to it. Xbox 360 is a good console but the only problem it has, is overheating. Today i was in Media Markt and they had those ps3 and xbox 360 stands where you could stand and play. They Xbox 360 had the RROD. That was pissing off but okay, you can't do something against it. I guess Microsoft wanted to make the console as small as possible but the overheating chance then grew.

I own a wii and a 360, and personally the 360 is a good system but It does have serious flaws. The Wii is a good system too but it too has serious flaws.

Wii Pros: Fun, innovative, and artistic games, free online, and very user friendly interface.

Wiis con: Friend codes, lack of quality 3rd party support (it's improving quickly), a little lacking in the core genre(also improving quickly)

360 Pros: great online, realistic graphics

360 Cons: disk scratching, wallet raping, confusing OS

the wii doesn't. In fact the wii is the most reliable, and resilient system out of the 3 new systems. Nintendo consoles have always been tough and reliable. I have had game boys go through wash machines and still work. I've dropped my wii and Game Cube so many times before and I never had a problem with them.

If you accidentally bump into your 360 system while running a game it will scratch the hell out of your disk. My new 360 ruined my FEAR2 disk like that.

That's not the point. I shouldn't have to worry or be carful about how i or others move around my 360 while it's running. There is no excuse for such a flaw in the 360 design. I could pick up and drop my wii system (while it's running) and there would be no damage to my system or disk. The 360 doesn't have to be as resilient as the wii, but I shouldn't have to worry about it scratching my disk, especially since the game are on average $20 more than wii games.

I never had my N64 over heat. But regardless who cares whether the N64 overheated or not that was two video game console generations ago. In today and last generation Nintendo consoles are by far the most reliable. And Nintendo handhelds have always been reliable.

I hate PS3 for a LOT of reasons.

1) hard drive crashes because of internet and storage of files.

2) doesn't have halo 3 nor have any good hacks/glitches.

3) if hooked up to internet, it can get viruses easily and also people can find ways to hack sony's website and find your mac address for the PS3 and get information from your PS3 and mess up the memory.

4) pay for dumb as shit.

5) doesn't connect to the computer to look at live TV, and also access types of files from your computer.

1 red ring means av cable not plugged or hard drive not completely in...i got this couple of times it doesn't mean your system is dead...

No one red ring means The E-74 or 79 wich means your soldering to the main CPU/GPU has burnt out and means the chips will get hot 4 times faster.

Two Red lights means your system has over heated and you need to go take your fat ass out side for 20 min.

Three red lights is almost the same thing as the E-74 but a little worse.

And four red lights means your Av Cables are loose. If your hard drive is loose it will just keep restarting because it reads it then looses it.

I own both a wii and 360. I just recently bougt the arcade system. Some of my a big irks with the xbox360 is

1. The lack of no internal wireless network card. (you have to buy it separate) that bullshit.

2. Necessary internal memory is sold separately and it cost an arm and a leg. More bullshit.

Okay, the Ps3 is a wonderful gaming platform wich features HD gaming and Blu-ray compatibility, also backwards compatibility. The Xbox 360 is also awesome wich features such as: HD DVD Drives, Multiple memory slots including a HDD and Memory Sticks. It also includes Xbox LIVE wich is the best online gaming sucsessor EVER. So in retrospect, i think they are both great consoles
