It is amazing! I have 37 books from him, every book which was translated in Czech. But it is not enough, I want more and more books from Dean Koontz, he is my favourite author. My English is not good enough so I can read his books in english, but I hope some day... Yesterday I finished "In the Moonlight", the last book which was translated. And next book will be in April! :(
Dean Koontz has motivated me back into reading. :) His way of writing is most intriguing. I have not read one single book from him, nevertheless I am reading From the Corner of His Eye at the moment. Can't stop flipping them pages! Next one would most probably be Watchers. After that one, I have no clue what so ever, but certainly I will keep reading books from this outstanding author named Dean Koontz. Just saying...Greetings! :D
I am looking for some good Koontz to read. Any recommemdations? I have read The Face Of Fear, The Husband and Odd Thomas and want another of his to read. I am cirrently reading The Mask and also own Cold Fire
I have read all of those books too, I would suggest if you are still hungry for more, check out some online booksellers for the older books written under the pen names Brian Coffey, Anthony North, etc. Some were rewritten under the Koontz name, some were not but they are all of the same high quality. You will not be disappointed, they are well worth the extra money.
@BurgundysFinest You really shouldn't have to warm up to a book the second time.
If I were to judge Koontz on his recent stuff form the past four years, I'd say he's a miserable writer, with pancake-flat characters and church-boring plots. Then I got wind of some earlier stuff that's a lot darker. I read the first chapter of Lightning in a Barnes and Nobles and I will definately be buying that and his other works from the 80s.
the orginal demin seed is the one u have, a second one was written in the mid 90s, same story, but revised and apparently better than the other one before it. you could find it on amazon.
Man, just about all of your books are in excellent condition. Did you buy 2 copies when all of those first came out? It's rare to see those old paperbacks in such good shape. Nice collection!
Yeah most are basically in new condition, some even untouched from years ago when I originally bought them. A case of collecting books faster then you can read.
hey nice collection im getting into dean koontz do u have any suggestions that i should read?? ive only read intensity and im currently reading life expectancy

I hate those tall paperbacks. They don't feel right in my hands. I prefer the classic paperbacks.
