  • Marco, what audio interface are you using for your computer? I'm always running into latency issues when recording. Thanks. Man I love this video. You really should rip and MP3 and put it on iTunes. I'd buy it!

  • @ameangreenbean Hi ! Thanks ! ;-)

I'm using the UX1 audio interface (Line6). I'm using the native Line6's ASIO driver and I've never had latency problems ! When you're recording, turn off all the FX (reverb, delay, comp...etc) and eventually turn them on after you've recorded your take. I don't know it this is the "right way"..but it work for me ! ;-)

    Hope that helps !

    Ciao!

    Marco

  • Men!!! This is great!! I think you just need a little boost your level and you become a real musician

  • Marco,

Fantastic composition and playing. Reminds me of Joe Bonamassa (i hope that is a compliment). Are you using any pedals at all? Please post more videos. Thanks for the inspiration!

  • @ameangreenbean Wow, thanks !! ;-)

In this video I'm using only the Boss DD-3...nothing else !

    Thanks again !

    Ciao,

    Marco

  • Great composition Marco. Fantastic. You have very melodic ideas! Wonderful to listen. And perfect tone in playing your ideas.

The DB has a brilliant sound in your living room, I am quite surprised that it's not too loud for your neighbours?

  • @TheRelact Thanks a lot !

Too loud for the neighbours?? I don't know...I can't hear them when I'm playing !!!

    Just joking ! :-))

The amp in the room is not that loud, really ! I usually use a mic in front of it and then I add a bit of reverb on the lead track to add more "depth" to the sounds.

    Ciao!

    Marco

  • @MbM20100

A great sound you have, I like it. Very worm and smooth.

Why don't you use the reverb of the DB and your Digital Delay DD3 but VST Plug Ins? Is the reverb of the DB not satisfying for you?

  • Very nice :-)

  • @margovallen Thanks !

    ;-)

    Ciao!

    Marco

  • @MbM20100 You most welcome :-)

    Margo~ xox

  • How do you like that amp? would you buy it again? thinking about buying one.

  • @lonestar7703 Hi, I like a lot the DB and yes, I would buy it again ! I've found the perfect match (to my ears) with the DB and the Carl Martn Plexitone. Who knows..maybe one day.. ;-))

    Ciao!

    Marco.

  • That's brilliant man !

Didn't hear so good playing on youtube for a long time...

    Matt

  • @EnmandsBand1 Thanks ! ;-))

    Marco

  • Very nice, love the song! Great playing!! I just picked one of these amps up on Ebay, with a Weber 15F150 in it. I will have it in a few days.

  • @otisray99 Thanks ! Enjoy your new amp ! Good choice, it's a really good sounding amp ! :-))

    Ciao !

    Marco

  • @mbm20100 thanks for the reply, appreciate it, keep on rockin!

  • @buzzmund You're welcome !

    Ciao !

    Marco

  • nice playing. can i ask you does this amp go from really quiet to crazy loud because i am a bedroom player and only play the occasional gig, but i really like the sound of these, but if its too loud i could have trouble with flat mates. what do you think? cheers

  • @buzzmund Thanks ! If you play on the clean channel, there's no problem I think...

On the lead channel playing at low volume..mmm..IMHO it's not so good. A good compromise would be to play on the clean channel using an OD in front of it.

    Ciao !

    Marco

  • Very pleasant. Thanks!

  • @arie26leib Thanks for watching !

    ;-))

    Ciao!

  • @ vetericyn : What's the problem ?

Take a breath my friend... :-))

If you don't like my video, turn off your monitor and turn on your speakers !

If you want to ear the "real" DB sounds, try one by yourself !

YT is for everyone, so feel free to upload your video ! I'm always happy to learn something new ! :-)

    Ciao,

    Marco

  • Awesome tone and playing! What pickups do you have in that Strat?

  • Hi, thanks !! ;-))

PU's are the stock pu's you'll find in the Classic Player 60 Stratocaster. They're the Custom Shop '69.

    Ciao !

    Marco

  • I'd pay you for the tab of this track! Awesome note selection...

  • ;-)

I would like to help you, but I don't know anything about music..and I don't know what I'm playing on the fretboard....

    Ciao !

    Marco

  • Marco, sei un grande!

  • Sweet AND tasty!

  • Thank you very much !

    Ciao!

    Marco

  • But really... I mean it! Would you consider supplying tabs? I could pay via Paypal if that's what it took!

  • Great playing and sound! Thanks for the vid...........

  • Thanks to you ! :-)

    Ciao !

    Marco

  • My goodness! What SWEET tone! I love strats, and I love my Peavey Delta Blues 1 X 15 as well! Just curious if you have experimented with tubes at all and have any suggestions...

    GREAT playing and FABULOUS tone!

  • Hi, thanks a lot ! :-))

The only tubes I've used (..and tested) in the DB, are the JJ's ! Both for pre and power amp section !

    Thanks again, ciao !

    Marco

  • do you have the drum loop going through the amp? IF so how do you have it wired up. I am looking at the amp and didn't see that it would do that. If not what are you using for the backing track?

  • Hi, theres only the guitar connected to the amp. I use to record my videos using different devices at the same time.

So, while Im recording the video using the camera, I record the guitar part too using a recording software.

Then I merge the audio and the video parts using WindowsMoovieMaker

The backing track is usually recorded by me using different tracks of the same recording software.

    Hope that helps.

    Ciao !

    Marco

  • Hey, maybe it's just because I'm high, but that was pretty moving.

  • :-)) Thanks !

  • Awesome tone and playing!!

  • @alexmc69 Thanks a lot ! Glad you like it !

    Ciao !

    Marco

  • Noto con piacere che sei un Fenderiano! E che Fenderiano!

    Marco

  • Your demos sound very great and your playing is that nice !

  • Thanks a lot jp6l6 !!

    ;-)

    Ciao !

    Marco

    Ciao e grazie !

    Marco

  • Rinnovo i complimenti.

    Ciao e grazie ancora,

    Marco

  • The best advert for this guitar I have ever seen.

Now if I could only get my cp60 to sound like that..........

  • @Buzzjugs :

    ;-))

    Thanks !

    Ciao !

    Marco

    .

  • That's the 'buesy-est' tone I ever heard from a strat! Is that backing track available to me by any chance? It's awesome! Is it your own work?

Your playing is very dynamic, love it!

    Great vid man!

  • @GeoStratocaster : Thanks a lot !!! Glad you liked it !

Sorry for the BT..it's my own work... ;-)

    Ciao !

    Marco

  • In that case, it's twice as good! :) It really is the "blues-iest" tone...'yeah! :)

  • Che bravo! Cinque stelle ben meritate.

  • Grazie !!! ;-))

  • Thanks a lot amx390 !

The amp settings are (1 to 12):

    Pre = 7

    Post = 3

    Bass = 6.5

    Mid = 5

    Treble = 5.5

The DD3 is in the amp's EFX loop with every knob (more or less..) at noon.

  • Beautiful tone Marco..The delay gives everything that edge doesn't it.. also nice to see someone not overplaying. sublety and touch is what music, especially guitar playing is all about.. keep the videos coming.. A++++

I am just about to pair up with a Delta blues myself.. I checked everything out, and no other amp out there gives the tone if offers..Blows even old Fender Tweeds away... Terrific little amp...A collectors item for the future for sure..)

  • Hi melsamjay !

Thanks very much for the kind words ! :-))

You're right about the Delta Blues: it's a terrific little amp !

    Ciao !!
