I was always blown away by all the ridicule Michael Bolton would get. I guess it was because he was singing the love songs, and guys tease other guys who sing to the women. Nobody ever seemed to give him credit for having such a big voice though, which always shocked me because just listen to him.

I am a big fan of male singers who can really belt it out, but maybe it's the tone of his voice - just does not impress me. I can hear his range, his vibrato, I can acknowledge his talent, sure. But I don't enjoy hearing him sing nonetheless. Not everybody is going to like him, I'm one of them. Enjoy his singing.. you're a fan and that's your prerogative. I just don't like his voice.. at all.

The fact that Mr. Bolton is a huge success with millions of fans does not mean that his singing is the best. It still is opinion. The same can be said with his version of Yesterday - opinion. b) a very clean professional image;

c) appealing to a mainly adult contemporary market

d) not being excessively attractive, yet still sexy and confident

all in all, i feel CELINE and MICHAEL would are the closest performer to one another in terms of style and the ability to render the message and especially emotion of ANY ballad!

What problems do you have with this cover? Bolton is a good singer and he did a nice version of the brilliant beatles-classic. Because it doesnt sound like the original doesnt mean, it isnt very well done.
