  • Pamela Tiffin! Check her out in "One, Two Three". Great actress.

  • A 1933 version of the film? I haven;t heard of that one. Can you tell me more about this one?

  • The 1945 version was a remake of the 1933 film. I am not sure that first film was a musical, though. I love all of these old movies. Just watched April Love the other day and loved to see Shirley Jones with Pat Boone. Lots of fun....

  • The 1945 version is a remake of the first film done in 1933!

  • i like both this and the 1945 version, but the 1945 version is far superior...does anyone know who sang for Pam Tiffin?

  • @issurchaim The singer's name is Anita Gordon. She also did the voice of the Singing Harp in the Mickey Mouse Beanstalk cartoon from Fun and Fancy Free!

  • You can hear allusions to 'Cock-Eyed Optimist' (from 'South Pacific') - another R&H hit - in this equally lovely song!

  • I love that every version of this song is good.

  • I much prefer this version. I love the actors and actresses in it, especially Tom Ewell, Alice Faye, and Bobby Darin. Maybe it's my age, but I saw this when it came out and always preferred it. Thanks for posting these clips.

  • I love the new version better than the 1945 version..could anyone put the 1962 version on here ..i would love to have the movie. Bobby Darin is the greatest on the movie

  • great version and beautiful setting here

  • I never knew that they've made a remake..this looks beautiful..but the original is the original...and in my opinion best...although it seems a good remake

  • I think evry1 likes he 1945 version better

i think so too...I do not like the remake casts'

    voice and appearance...

  • yeah but with Bobby Darin, I can get over that...even though the first one was better :) L.

  • She performs it really well but I have to say I like the 1945 version better.

  • I also think that too

(I know that my grammer is horrible)

  • Thumbs up!!!!

  • wow! I like her dress. Early 60s fashion was the best ;)

  • Seriously...the 1945 version is the BEST... seems like all the songs from that one are...

  • nice song! I'm working on this song with my voice teacher and it's really good. :) Thank you for the post cendrillon325! greta job with this! ;-)

  • i hate this version i like the 1945 version

  • The 1962 version was, in my opinion, a vehicle for Pat Boone, Ann-Margret and Bobby Darin.

  • Whoa.... this looks like the movie but it's colored... was there a remake of it? o.O

  • There are three versions of State Fair.

    1) 1933 B/W non-musical

    2) 1945 Technicolor musical

    3) 1952 color remake of '45 version

This is from the third. There was never any black & white film of the Rodgers & Hammerstein musical version.
