  • Warhammer is awesome, especially the 40k stuff. Vampire, D&D and magic are also teh awesomesauce.

I think that wargaming is a totally different creature than the rest of gaming. A bit expensive, but that didn't stop me from building up a Necron army.

  • Hello Mr Morton!! So, you are a gamer as well as a thinker. Very nice. I dabble in games too and take Magic a bit more seriously (even though I am only a Pre-releaser these days).

Was that an argument map you held up? Cool; they are very helpful.

Anyway, are you still an atheist? You seemed to be getting close-ish to conversion when you were doing your atheism videos. I enjoyed them the most. Peace!

  • i spend loads on Warhammer 40k. i loved space marines

  • i play warhammer 40k myself i find i relate to it more the warhammer

  • Well, well. Hello fellow adult gamer. JunkmanJim referenced this video in a conversation we had earlier, and I had to check it out. I've just recently gotten into WH40K (Year and a Half give or take). I've been painting for years, however, so it was a easy transition. You should check out my Geekiness score video, I think you would rank quite high! I play Tau, Marines & Chaos (converted Skaven!).

  • I resent the term 'adult' ;)

I'll be sure to check out your video!

  • Man, i used to play warhammer all the time way back in the day.

  • Sadly, as many figures as I have, I have yet to play a full game. I have a thing about playing with unpainted figures. Makes me feel dirty.

  • I would like to learn more about Warhammer since I would enjoy the task of painting the figures. But I doubt I will find a group around here that will play often enough.

  • Well, if you enjoy painting, you might get more out of buying the little figures that you can buy to go with games like Dungeons and Dragons. That way, you don't actually -have- to play the game to enjoy the figures. Also, it's much cheaper (about $5 a figure or so) and you get get a ton of variety.

  • $5 a figure is much cheaper? Yikes. Hmm, Ill have to think about that. haha.

  • Hehe. Well, and plus the fact that you get different ones each time. Unlike 30+ of the same orc figure in a box (for $30+) :)

  • I used to pay D&D and then World of Warcrack. I did get stuck painting little War Hammer figures with my ex-husband and his friends. I only LARP'ed Vampire of the Mascarade once though! Let your geek flag fly Chad! BE THE RAT MAN! Hello Oreo!

  • Hehe. Thanks!
