regarding that comment i have this actual game and the game gear and i have done it without save states. this game is incredibly easy for an older game. most games from back in the game were hard as hell.

Concerning "dead man's bread", as you call it: You jump to the right cliff (where the checkpoint is), run to the left like you were going to kill yourself, then you slide just before you fall into the pit. Voila, bread taken, Al hanging from the cliff on the left side.

Thanks for the ducking and sneaking trick. Very helpful indeed. As for the dead man's bread, you can hang on from the ledge to get it.

thanks for helpin me get past this level lol......i always died at the slide part to get to the stairs....

now i didnt lol how do you dowload an emulator and play it on the computer? i dont know how to do that.....can someone post a comment on my page telling me how to do that

The sliding part at 2:08 REALLY got me stuck. I did it once by accident, and it took me like forever to re-learn how to do it. Ugh...that ONE little thing prevented me from accessing the main part of the game! And that's like the only place you need sliding in the whole game! ARGH!!!

I'm sorry, but lol at the bat attack at 5:02! I feel your pain; bats can be SO annoying sometimes...

Anyway, cool commentary! Lol at the "game physics comments" and the "only getting 1 rock per rock" bits! XD

from the third stage until the end it's exactly like the first Prince of Persia! Even the moves of jump and grabing ledges are the same! And the glitchs of falling =P
