US deportation and border patrol where required is what is lacking. Immigration policy also, has to be staged over increments in years to allow for people who meet the qualities of being defined as American. WHAT IS Obama's definition of "punish?" WHAT IS Obama's definition of "enemy?" WHAT IS Obama really telling the hispanics to do? How violent is it going to get out there, folks?
These types of statements are uncalled for and are not appropriate by any sitting U.S. President. A perfect example of why the tea party has been so successful.....

I guess it's never occurred to him that there are latino americans who also aren't too crazy about his massive government control, crippling taxes, 3 trillion more in debt in his first 1 1/2 years. They want a future for their kids too. It's so insulting to latinos to treat them like they're all the same, and incapable of thinking for themselves.

Lets not forget that this is also a distraction by the false left/right paradigm to get everyone angry about issues that don't matter. i don't want to ninny about how Sarah Pailin killed a moose in Alaska or about Obama telling his supporters to punish his opponents. Lets focus on the major issues like how to empower grass roots movements or repealing unconstitutional bills like the patriot act or the federal firearms act.

@Tneisnart While I agree about the false Left/Right paradigm, it's way too late for grassroots politics. I was involved back in the turn of 2000 and there was simply no one interested. I got spit on and death threats for simply holding a sign that said "Honk if you Hate Taxes." I'm not joking. Me and 4 or 5 other guys stood out near a post office every April 15 and no one was interested. After 9/11 it got worse. Ron Paul? He got less than 1% of the vote last time around. Enjoy the storm...

@jacobyte100 To a certain extent, you are correct. But there are others like you, more than you may think. Also, remember it only took 2-5% of the american population to win the American revolution. You do not need to be in the majority to win. While there are a vast sea of fluoride heads that must be contended with, evil prevails when good men do nothing. To secure any kind of future, you will have to eventually confront this behemoth, otherwise your just preparing yourself a later death

As much as I despise Obama, so what? So what if he said "punish our enemies". Is it nice what he said, no, but then again the world isn't nice. Grow a backbone, it isn't like he called for acts of violence. If people start getting upset about some minor thing Obama said thats allowed under the first amendment, it itself is detrimental as it falls under a certain category called censorship. As Voltaire put it, "I may not agree with what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it"

Obama wants you to get angry at what he said, so you spend all your time getting angry about some minor footnote in his speech that you do not go beyond into matters of true importance. Simply put its a distraction. Do the research, obama is wicked creature but, at the end of the day, he is but a mere tool of an even greater enemy. Focus not on Obama, but the state of the World in general, whats really going on?

I'm not trying to lecture you, I'm just concerned (and rightly so) that most people are too focused on certain minor issues within the left right paradigm that they only see Obama as the problem and immediatly flock over to the republican side who in many cases are not much better than the democrats. true change come througha complete purge of the state, local, and federal governments.

But the President of the United States, My President says this, talks about punishing me for my views, and as President he has infinitly more power than any of those Conservative pundits and yet the mainstream media gives him a total pass.
