The following (in two posts) is the writeup of this game as it was published in Pitt's 1938 yearbook. Credit goes to the Univ. of Pittsburgh Archive Service Center.

Newsreel houses and photographic sections of newspapers had a great time following the Pitt-Fordham "doughnut-center" contest showing how Pitt scored but didn't make a touchdown against the Gotham Granite. With thirty seconds remaining in the first half,
Stebbins on the Ram five yard line, reversed to Goldberg who ran off right tackle untouched for what the jammed Polo Ground assembly thought was the first score in three years of Smoky City and Forty-Second Street football. The referee ruled that Matisi was holding on the play ; the score was nullified; the Sutherlands were penalized fiffteen yards ; and football experts throughout the country have had something to talk about ever since.
In 1876, a young girl named Jenn was walking down a river, an insane man killed her by stabbing her in the back, raping her, and then hanging her in his closet. While he hanged her he said Bukakke Bukkake.
Now that you have read this message, she will find you and her dead body will haunt your house for 5 years. Every night you go to sleep she will appear in your closet, hanging their with her glowing red eyes.
Thank you very much. Over e-bay I was able to get a pitt-fordham 16mm film which i converted to VHS several years ago. It is now in the possesion of a gridiron club member. I believe that my tape is of the same game but the 2nd part possibly. Terrific history.
