Vietcong / NVA (North Vietnamese Army) hang their enemy's on trees to rot so they could scare their enemy.

When entering a tunnel and there was a way down, they stabbed you with their bayonet that was attached to their rifle when you tried to go down. Not to mention all those traps. Grenade foot traps. Punji pits with stakes that had poison on top and that's only a small part of it.

There was a killer TV commercial for Tour of Duty back in the late 1980's! All it was was a scene of an open strip of jungle, complete with jungle fauna sound effects. The camera pans the scene for a few seconds, then a narrator says..."There are 20 booby traps in this strip of jungle". There's more silence as the camera keeps panning (of course, you can't see any booby traps). Then the narrator comes back a few seconds later and says..."Welcome to Nam, boys". You are incorrect my friend, this in fact is actual footage from the vietnam war, and was taken from the 2nd light armoured french troop division known as Le Fréchic Trecolor. They used the music to intimidate the vietnamese troops. The french military had cameramen everywhere on the battlefield.
