This is greatness..it brings tears to my eyes...They fucik'in rock. Sin ce i was 17 in 1994 I love them . from Ridglea theatre to th eSt. patty's day parade...I love 'em...
This was filmed in Austin TX on the last night of the legendary club Liberty Lunch. (They tore it all down to build an empty building)That's the guys from Baboon getting crazy at the end. What a magical performance this was. So glad I was there.
I Fuckin' Love This Song. I'm so mad it's not going to make the new album. I don't own the original Feeler, and want to learn to play it, it's much easier with a CD.
Yes. Feeler will finally see the light of day. Although 'Send You To Heaven' wasn't on the original track listing that was rejected by Interscope we can hope the band does re-record it for the new and improved 2010 Feeler. There is also a Beatles cover that will be on the CD. Maybe it will be 'Don't Let Me Down' as seen YouTube.
This has always been one of my favorite Toadies songs since I heard it on a live bootleg many years ago. but I've never liked the studio version. I think it's when the rhythm and drums comes in on the first verse. instead of being distorted, I think it should be more "warbly" sounding, like with chorus/delay/or heavy use of whammy bar to give it an "otherwordly" feel rather than a slow/grunge sound.
another great great song off Feeler is "Clarksville". that is a GREAT song too.
i heard from Mark Reznicek that they, the toadies, are trying to get it released but its caught up in legal trouble and trying to find the master recordings.
this is an amazing song guys, i had never heard it. i think i have watched this 3 times now, and am mesmerized! i'm going in less than 5 hours to tulsa to see them!!! great, great, great video
Most people won't hear Feeler because they don't know where they can find it. It wasn't released, but it's out there. It's up to us who do have it to show it to the world. Feeler's a masterpiece, from Pink to Send You to Heaven.
i can't stop thinking about this song. the ending is haunting and oh so apt.
you know everyone always never gave you no credit musically and blah blah blah. but i realised today when everyone today is dead and long in the future high school kids will pick up "rubberneck" because the lyrics are timeless. fuck everyone else i'm not after cred' i'm after feeling and truth.

@crotchtheband Tell me about it. But at least we still have this demo. And maybe if we're fortunate, we can get it on their next record.
