Just like the guys of thrash back in their day theres a similar thing going on now. Pop metal, metalcore, grindcore, screamo,emo, Bands that use techno esque backing tracks, putting more breakdowns then a rehab center that arent even in time or have rythym, no guitar solos but non melodic and off key complicated licks that they feel makes them a shredder, short hair detuned guitars skinny jeans and highlights are now what the mainstream call metal and we need our generations thrashers to rise up

@Alejandro1313sixx definitely, i'm definitely more of a metallica fan than megadeth, i don't really listen to them, but i'm familiar with some of their songs. i'm just not a big fan of 'thrash', i'm more into the slower 'heavier' stuff like metallica. but i recognize dave is extremely talented so i'm not hating on him. but if he was a more stable guy, and not so aggressive and into all the drugs, there's no telling how big they would have gotten. dave is his own worst enemy unfortunately
