This is my favorite dance of Max, of Val, and of Karina. The other girl looks and dances like Karina's sister... :) I never get tired of watching this my favorite dance!
I never get tired of watching this particular performance! I'm really curious who did the choreography. I also still believe that usually the pro dances are much better (definite exceptions I'll admit) when it's 4 or less dancers such as this. Anyway, Karina and Valeria were FABULOUS and the guys were great too. Overall great performance!
Wow Maks's brother looks and dance amazing too! And who is the other girl? And how do you know which one was Karina? @NEWARKGIRL22 well one can only speculate but as a dancer, if you are working with someone you must talk for the good of the group. I'd bet it's a "strictly business" arrangement. I wondered about this after Maks and Louis made crappy comments a while back about Lacey and Cheryl's weight needing "something to do about it"...I was like, I couldn't even look at someone after saying that and soon after, they were partnered for a pro dance. Again, collaboration for the good of the show
OMG! Maks n Karina's break-up is getting heated...Maks' brother, Val, along with Tony Dovoloni, and Mark Ballas have posted a video on YouTube, and in this video/song, Karina is called a "ho" by Maks' brother. It's a tribute to Maks called "Brother". It runs about 4:30 minutes in length. 2 see it type: VC "Brother". I have a feeling this situation between the two of them is going to get even uglier betwen these two...It's just a shame all the way around. I was hoping they could work it out!
The video was getting alot of attention on the DWTS FB. Both versions of the video have now been removed. But the video of Karina french kissing Brad Penny is still out there on TMZ. Don't think it's going to get worse. Maks is just ignoring her as he should. She will self destruct and has already started if the TMZ video is any indication.

Not to say I know *ANYTHING* about them or their relationship or anything personal about them at all, of course. But generally speaking, the person who causes the problem finds it easier to stay quiet about it. The person reacting to the hurt and betrayal usually has a harder time staying silent.

It speaks to their character and integrity. I've been hurt and I didn't go around broadcasting to everyone because I am better than that. If he said something once and slipped up, I could understand, but every chance he got he was taking jabs at her and referencing her. A true gentleman does not do that.

Maks knew this woman for years and he knew she wasn't ready to start a family but he fell in love anyway, asked her to marry him anyway and probably expected her to change for him. When she didn't, he probably felt betrayed. Maybe this wasn't the case, but if it was, Maks being hurt may have more to do with him than with Karina.

When it comes to execution and perfection of choreography, count on Karina to deliver every single time. She is truly elite. No one has swagger like her!

Now that Maks and Karina are a "couple" I can't wait to see if they both come back to DWTS in March. I want to see how hot they dance with each other during any pro's segment.
Well, in my next life...I will dance as well or better than Karina. She is awesome. In fact all of them are fantastic. I wish I could dance like that, if only for a day! lol
OMG!!!! DWTS could turn into a "family of pros" show. Will be interesting to watch how many DWTS picks up. Maks and his brother, Alec Mazo and his brother, Lacey and her brother, Derek and Julianne. And they all dance great. Thanks for posting.

I've been saying for a while that while I LOVE Maks and think he is very, very cute, I honestly cringe sometimes watching him dance. Sometimes he looks like an amazing dancer, other times it just seems mediocre and I don't like a lot of his choreography. With that said, and having seen his brother dance with him, I have to give it to his brother. I think he is a better dancer. Sorry Maks! I still love you and I can't wait to see you on the floor again next season!

Gosh, I hope so! I want another season like the one with Maks and Mel. I'd like to again see THAT kind of chemistry on DWTS. It would be really good to see bad boy Maks.
@mimzy4u i have to admit, i'm not crazy about max's style compared to the more competitive IDSF Latin Ballroom male champions( i.e. Timo and Motsi, Melinda and Maurizio, Slavik and Elena, etc.), yet he did a great job with Mel as far a performance was concerned.
Yeah, he isn't one yet. But he is getting there soon. Someone in another video commented that he is now 1st in US amateur since the previous 1st place couple turned pro. I hope Val does come one season to compete. He'd be a great addition!

no Val and Val are no longer together. They split in October or November. Valentin is now dancing with Dariya Chesnokova

OMG!!!! DWTS could turn into a "family of pros" show. Will be interesting to watch how many DWTS picks up. Maks and his brother, Alec Mazo and his brother, Lacey and her brother, Derek and Julianne. And they all dance great. Thanks for posting.

I've been saying for a while that while I LOVE Maks and think he is very, very cute, I honestly cringe sometimes watching him dance. Sometimes he looks like an amazing dancer, other times it just seems mediocre and I don't like a lot of his choreography. With that said, and having seen his brother dance with him, I have to give it to his brother. I think he is a better dancer. Sorry Maks! I still love you and I can't wait to see you on the floor again next season!

@mimzy4u i have to admit, i'm not crazy about max's style compared to the more competitive IDSF Latin Ballroom male champions( i.e. Timo and Motsi, Melinda and Maurizio, Slavik and Elena, etc.), yet he did a great job with Mel as far a performance was concerned.

Yeah, he isn't one yet. But he is getting there soon. Someone in another video commented that he is now 1st in US amateur since the previous 1st place couple turned pro. I hope Val does come one season to compete. He'd be a great addition!
