I felt the same way when I put on my first pair of vibrams... and to date I will not wear any other "regular" shoes since I've had them, they are just too awesome and comfortable. Not to mention, I was a sandal guy, ALWAYS wearing sandals, i don't even like wearing my sandals anymore (matter of fact, I DON'T wear my sandals anymore). .... .... so I feel ya on the excitement, it's absolutely merited

ive been running in vibrams for 2 months now. you gotta transition into them before you run in them full time though. luckily for me the transition only took a month and a half and my shin splints, ankle, and knee pain ALL went away. best shoes EVER

@JohnLeeMD No odor in mine...they are washable. (hint) :) Also I use a small touch of foot powder occasionally. No odors, no problems! Sock are optional.

@JohnLeeMD 1 part vinegar, 2 parts water. then wash in the washer. also use foot spray (like they use at the bowling ally) to kill the bacteria. it cuts way down on the stench.

@JohnLeeMD if they start to smell really bad but 4 denture tabs in a bag 2 inside the shous and 2 outside, they come out clean cause denture tabs love to eat bacteria, no more stink, or so they say

@trufiend138 I prefer paying vibrams at $100 (btw you are a terrible shopper, got them at $65) that last me for years than a $120 pair of overprotective shoes I went through each summer. Vibram offers just enough protection to go everywhere but still retain that barefoot feel. Oh and let's not talk about how much more I can run because I don't have any more knee injuries. But ya thoses are an awful investment

how do these shoes fit? like i wear a size 9 but the smallest they have in kso is ten. would they still take the form of my foot because i cannot find a size 38 or 39 in any vibram shoes anywhere. i would even like the sprints but basically would they even come close to fitting my foot good?

@666iniquity They are great for running. I would recommend one with the strap that goes over your foot though if you are going to run in them. I have a pair of the KSO and I love them for running. First week you can tell that you muscles are getting stronger.

If you follow the sizing instructions at their website, you'll do fine. I did...then bought them direct from Vibram. I'm getting a 2nd pair, either the Flow or the Trek... Happy New Year!
