They need to listen to actual pronounciation tapes. I agree with what you say. I am NOT a native speaker. But I do know some words in the anishinaabe language. Just a tiny bit. I really haven't practiced it much. I speak an Iroquoian language that isn't spoken today. That is the Huron language. It's revival is slow.
