That car has the stock 5-speed and gearing. The TT hits close to 110-118 in 3rd. Give or take a few MPH. It all depends on the tire size, ECU with higher rev limit, etc...
@turb0tun3r Ima have to call dumbass! Just because your little eclipse won't do more than 80 in 3rd doesn't mean that no other car will either! Stock TT transmissions with stock rear gearing will hit almost 120! I think they actually top out at 180. But especially if you have a tuned ECU with a higher rev limiter, yeah it's possible to hit that speed in 3rd!

These days in Miami is a nightmare, varying temps, highs to lows, humid air, cross winds, you name it! The only commercial tires being used track wise are Michelen Pilot Sport Cup 235/35ZR19 (87Y). They work well, If there is a street tire that will put a hold down on the track for a sub 11 run thats it.

Well he's probably running similar to the stock tire diameter (245/45R16, or 24.7" dia.) which is about 77.5" around. 116mph is 122,496in/min OR 1581 Wheel RPM. Throw that through the 3.692 differential and the 1.302 3rd gear to achieve a 4.807 reduction which means the engine would have to turn 7598RPM to hit 116mph... totally possible, even if the limiter is set at a common 7500, it will easily bounce 150+RPM higher like he did in the video! :)
this gives me hope that i cna run a mid 12 on the stock turbo's, just going by the sound of how long you were in each gear seems pretty much the same as my car, im going to need slicks obviously

yh imports are about finely tuned cars that create the feel of a racer without an engine the size of a boat, or the sophication of a horse drawn wagon. i love both muscle for its brutish power, and import, for its fine tuning.

Yet Another import vs domestic battle. Civics with big wings, loud mufflers, and cut springs are ricers, But anyone who thinks cars like the NSX, Supra, 300ZX, and R34 are just ricers obviously don't have a clue. I've seen stock TTZ's hang with Mustang GT's all day, and I've seen a street legal Supra run 8's with a 3.4L. Imports need to just worry about there fart cans,tunes,shift knobs and 4 foot wings and leave the real racing to V8 powered cars. This car said he did 12 Bullshit. Use youtubes clock and it is like 14sec. Whenever an import guy gives you a time add 4 sec. if not more

It was 12 seconds..I've counted 3 times using the timer. V8?...wow.....of course you can get alot of power from V8 blocks, it's common sense. But for a V6 or even 4cyl car to produce power...it puts V8s American Cars to shame. V8's need to worry about getting new engines because they make tooo much broken rumbling noises. U think it's power??..V12s are silent. LMFAO soo what u have to say?

ok, thats real mature. have you ever heard of domestic rice? The mustangs with the altezza lights and the CF hoods and the huge wings and bad HID kits and a fart cannon are worse than import rice.
what people forget, is that straight line is not the only tpe of racing. you get supras and skylines and Z's that run with big-ass V8's and V10's, yet they make the same power, and run the same times at the strip. Who would win at Nurburgring or Laguna Seca? Exactly my point.
