Hennessey makes performance parts for mainly American cars, sure, but the venom gt is their trademarked car. I said it was a lotus...as soon as you take the lotus badges off, it's no longer a lotus! It's not just some "Texas tune shop"...it's expensive high quality parts. And the ultimate aero is a production car..it's made by Shelby Super Cars. Just because it's rare doesn't make it a kit car. Must you disagree with everything said in this comments page in the past month?

@revhuntingftw It's not a lotus anymore...it's on a stretched lotus exige body with a high performance supercharged LS9 (From a ZR1, so it has 635 horsepower stock) with Hennessey upgrades pushing it up to 1000hp...if you know what Hennessey is capable of, you'll understand why this car goes so fast. Hennessey performance boosts a cars' horsepower by hundreds. Look it up.

Bah dont eat Hennesseys marketing hype without question. Hennessey is a texas tuneshop. What they did was tune the engine. They didnt make anything themselves.

The Lotus is modified in England by english people to fit the enormous engine. Is this all it takes to claim they made a "supercar" in america ?

If it looks good, its because its a Lotus. If it handles well, its because its a Lotus. If people actually buy it, its because its a Lotus. Dont confuse tuneshop jobs with supercars.

Koenigsegg Agera R is number 1, it does 440km/h (273.4 Mp/h)

I will admit that still needs to be proven,but needs to be done at VW test track as it has a 5mile strait but VW wont let Koenigsegg use there facilitys as VW own Buaggti.

The SSC Ultimate Aero was made in 2006.

Only 6 HTT Plethore's have been made.
