I watched him with Avenged on Tuesday and it was incredible! They're great and they deserve a drummer like him. He is my inspiration but to see him with Avenged he had such a smile on his face that I think he's done the right thing reading the press release

@DrumingRandomness no, man.. i think DT is steel the same band until now, portnoy was great, but with or without Portnoy, DT always THE BEST, .... i think THE CORE of DT's music is Petrucci, if u can feels the all of DT's music, you agree with me, JP is THE CORE..

@CostiDt Actually the core was Portnoy. Aside from drumming, he did absolutely EVERYTHING for the band: he marketed them, he made merch, he operated the website - he was in charge of everything.
