Secondly, how would you use the touchscreen efficiently in games like Metal Gear to rotate the camera? I can see what you mean if you are referring to Goldeneye or Call of Duty DS, but it wouldn't work here because most games that will use the CPP have uses for the ABXY buttons (D-pad for lefties) that would be awkward to use otherwise

i'll be getting one... i think everyone agrees that it is not the most desirable solution but it's nice that we do have the option. In another year or 18 months hopefully we'll get a 3DS refresh that has both pads. Frankly, I'll be first in line for it.

tim, have you had any additional problems with the circle pad not recognizing. I see that happen on other videos on youtube too. I'd be very concerned to buy something thats giving trouble already. I mean it could be the 3DS the device or the game for all we know. But interesting. I'm sort of considering holding off on the circle pad pro until I find a game that really needs it. I found Mercenaries to play fine after awhile and I thnk Revelations is probably the same way.

@GeneralCornmuffin What he means is when 3D is available on a game there is a little green "3D" light on the top portion of the unit. If it isn't on it means you cant use 3D on that game.
