i live in va. I hate Virgina! its so stupid i just got my metal detector like 2 days ago and then found out that you cant metal detect like anywhere in va! i hate the laws they are putting me in a bad mood. they say stuff like in order to do this you have to do this and this and this and this! i hate va and their metal detecting laws!
My famiy owns 116 acres of land at Harrisons Landing in Charles City VA. Awesome hunting there. Close friends own White House Landing in New kent, huge Union Camp, can go out in my yard and surrounding woods and dig bullets any given day. I love it here, seven pines, hanover, new kent. eltham, charles city. tons of civil war history
hey im interested in getting an all around good metal detector, from your experience what would you recommend? please reply, thanks ....whatever price
always enjoy your videos from far away belgium, thanks, one thing however : i really have a hard time finding one those showing you with a smile at any given time : you're not in an office there, no patrons, not even a boss in the line of sight... i wish i could watch some vids of yours one day featuring you in a little more relaxed way
Yeah, it's called Wyldes X...stock music...people either love it or hate it. I like the attitude it creates...got to be different and set myself apart from the other hundred metal detecting video series online.
The land is private property. The hunt organizers for DIV negotiate a lease that allows the participants to hunt there for the three days. The amount is substantial...if you tried to access this property as an individual you would be run off or arrested for trespassing. Thanks!
If a bottle find at about 18" is "intact", does this mean the farm area has never been disturbed or "plowed" down to this depth?(all over the 150 yrs)
I'm fascinated by the range of depths and timelines we're seein.
Normal plow-zone lines (everywhere I've ever been) tend to be anywhere from 12-15 inches...many of the bottles you see dug actually come from hut sites or trash pits which were also dug in 2 to 3 feet deep...so they tend to be at a level the plow never reaches.
Wow! Wish we had the chance to talk more! Hope you had a great time! Tell mom it was very cool of her to come to DIV with you. Hope you get to come to #13!
