were singing the dancing song in my choir and im a s1 and i love this song its very hard to sing and very FAST! but i love the part about the mosnter gnats fat! haha

You need more soprano 1 or have your soprano 2's sing softer. i am just simply making a suggestion of course but your soprano 1's are barely heard and quite often the soprano 1 part is quite important and depended on. I myself am a soprano 1 and just wanted to make a few suggestions.

Well I can't really do anything about that... we just have a lot of S2's and not enough people capable of S1. We're working more on balance this semester.

If I may be so bold as to make a suggestion? Your second sopranos are very loud, so there isn't an even balance. Might just be the recording though!!

And we've been trying to deal with the second soprano balance for a little while, it's hard because they are the biggest section of our chorale. The recording does sort of exaggerate it, but we're definitely aware of how loud they are, haha. Thanks for the comment.

Have you heard the Hungarian language version 'Turot esik a cigany'? An extra linguistic challenge I think!!!

Meh most can't jump up to s1 honestly, and a lot of people don't want to be awesome and drop down to alto. (I'm an alto 2, haha). And I have not, I'll check it out. :) thanks.
