  • I got the Swiss ball and Im doing my chest presses now, but I keep thinking the Ball is going to explode and I drop the weights on my face. I know it proberly wont happen but I still think about it.

  • @MercShinobi I just read your comments...Shit and realised I was right to assume that I like the ball to.

  • isn't doing dumbbell presses on a swiss ball supposed to be better for your shoulders as it allows the scapula to retract properly?

  • its a lot better for your shoulders for that very reason, and also from a calorie standpoint if your trying to cut down, the activation of your lower body helps you burn off more

  • I wouldn't trust swiss balls with 200lbs dumbbells. What if that thing pops under you?

  • yeah, i stopped doing these a few months back, cause it felt like is was going to burst with each rep, they do sell balls with a high burst rating, however, the ball i was using is just the average gym ball so i doubt i'll be using them again for this, lol
