A person could become comforted after hearing of a Near Death Experience like this one. I found the fact that a "guide" is provided for the person who has just died reassuring. If there is "life after death" it certainly seems reasonable that we each would need a "guide" to transition to the next life. I'm not ready to dismiss these NDE's as hallucinations. We may be living in some kind of a multi-dimensional universe, maybe when we die, our consciousness folds back into another dimension. ~?~?~

"Dying brain cells" neither create hallucinations nor have the ability to store them in long-term memory. Nevertheless, the experiencer has vivid, life-changing memories of continued consciousness at a time when no such memories could have been formed.

@ahernra Yeah I just paused it to read them....but, his message is pretty clear and consistent with other NDE'ers. I thought it was interesting at the end when he related that he contemplated suicide but, could not afford that luxury. He was afraid that suicide would cast him out from paradise and that he had to rise to life's challenge. Couldn't say it better myself!
