She is great. She did this song Friday wneh she opened for the Indigo Girls in Eugene. One of the best shows I have been to.

I'm not sure how age has anything to do with ones guitar playing ability, Hendrix was 27 when he died for example. I understand that Ms Carlile is famous for her singing and song writing but it was actually that that I was comparing to Emily. I'm not trying to slight Brandi but as I said Emily is *for me* one of the absolute greatest American song writers and singers ever and *for me* Brandi doesn't come close. Of course you may feel differently and *for you* you would be right :-)

DOH! I shudda read the full information first huh. Well I gotta tell ya I think Emily is the finest female talent that the USA has produced in the past 20 years. Bandi is very average by comparison.

Brandi is kind of known for her voice + her song writing rather than her guitar playing. She's only 25... The Indigo Girls have been playing and touring for twenty three years... Your comment is fair, but I don't like seeing Brandi slighted, she is awesome live, and a fantastic singer/songwriter.
