@egatz4u No you are mistaken. The ten toes are the ten kings that arise out of rome. Daniel 7 tells us the antichrist shall rise after the division of 10, and that he shall remove 3 of the 10. Rome was divided into 10 kingdoms in 476 AD, 3 kingdoms were removed by 538AD, the date the Church officially started ruling.

Every video in my series on Revelation starts with a notice explaining this concept, and that one video I told you off explains how to treat prophecy in detail. While speculation and obsession with the end time is not God's will, please never make the mistake of throwing out the importance of prophecy when treated correctly. Just because some may misapply the prophetic does not mean that God is no longer in the prophecy business...

The Lord's coming and many events will always be unknown. We shouldn't be all hyped about evil things coming! Yet, when God reveals end time prophecy, it is to help us, the church body, and the establishment of His kingdom. But I hope by "speculation", you don't mean interpretations that disagree with your own speculations.

And of course there are many different interpretations of the antichrist, and all but one of them is correct, because most are taken out of context. But if u study the prophecies of Daniel and the Revelation the antichrist is very clearly identified as the roman church.

The bible gives several prophecies and hints, but they are not clues that we can discover, because prophecy is a secret only to be revealed by God. This is the mistake we make: deducing meaning of prophecy by our "clues". Things aren't always as they seem.
@HullSerb Based on my research, the antichrist will be a muslim. Do you know that muslims are also waiting for their "messiah"? They call him the Mahdi. And their description of the mahdi is the same description of the antichrist of the bible. It really makes sense. Remember in the book of revelations, John saw a multitude which no one can count. You may be right, but God could resurrect anyone if He wanted to, for whatever purpose He wants. The only rules are that God makes the rules. A resurrection of an evil Christ rejecting person, or an anti-Christ could be temporary. Unlike the rsurrection of saints which will be forever.

@egatz4u No you are mistaken. The ten toes are the ten kings that arise out of rome. Daniel 7 tells us the antichrist shall rise after the division of 10, and that he shall remove 3 of the 10. Rome was divided into 10 kingdoms in 476 AD, 3 kingdoms were removed by 538AD, the date the Church officially started ruling.
He "who restrains" was pagan rome, all the early church fathers knew this. When pagan rome falls, antichrist shall arise. That's what they believed and that's what happened

There is only one correct interpretation of the prophecies on the antichrist which is the catholic church. Every video in my series on Revelation starts with a notice explaining this concept, and that one video I told you off explains how to treat prophecy in detail. While speculation and obsession with the end time is not God's will, please never make the mistake of throwing out the importance of prophecy when treated correctly. Just because some may misapply the prophetic does not mean that God is no longer in the prophecy business...

@egatz4u (continued) ...the bible is full of prophetic teachings concerning the return of the Lord. It however tells us how to handle prophecy and what to prioritize first. The Lord's coming and many events will always be unknown. We shouldn't be all hyped about evil things coming! Yet, when God reveals end time prophecy, it is to help us, the church body, and the establishment of His kingdom. But I hope by "speculation", you don't mean interpretations that disagree with your own speculations.

And of course there are many different interpretations of the antichrist, and all but one of them is correct, because most are taken out of context. But if u study the prophecies of Daniel and the Revelation the antichrist is very clearly identified as the roman church.

The bible gives several prophecies and hints, but they are not clues that we can discover, because prophecy is a secret only to be revealed by God. This is the mistake we make: deducing meaning of prophecy by our "clues". Things aren't always as they seem.

@HullSerb Based on my research, the antichrist will be a muslim. Do you know that muslims are also waiting for their "messiah"? They call him the Mahdi. And their description of the mahdi is the same description of the antichrist of the bible. It really makes sense. Remember in the book of revelations, John saw a multitude which no one can count. They were beheaded. Which religion or culture beheads people? Islam! It makes more sense than the Roman Catholic church.

You may be right, but God could resurrect anyone if He wanted to, for whatever purpose He wants. The only rules are that God makes the rules. A resurrection of an evil Christ rejecting person, or an anti-Christ could be temporary. Unlike the rsurrection of saints which will be forever.

Like Israel, she experiences great trauma as the Messiah is brought forth (figuratively) from the nation. And like Eve, it is her (distant) seed with which the serpent has his primary conflict.
Conversely, portions of the narrative do not apply to each referent.
Mary did not experience literal pain when bringing forth the Messiah, but she suffered figuratively (the prophecy that a sword would pierce her heart at the Crucifixion).

Genesis 37:9-1. The bible does not say the woman is more than one, it is a singular woman, not plural. The woman is Israel which gave the world Christ, the 12 tribes and the 12 apostles.

Taken together, the sun, moon, and twelve stars symbolize the people of Israel.
The Woman is the Church because, as 12:17 tells us, "the rest of her offspring" are those who bear witness to Jesus, making them Christians.
The Woman is Eve because she is part of the three-way conflict also involving her Seed and the Dragon, who is identified with the ancient serpent (the one from Eden) in 20:2.

The Woman in Revelation 12 is part of the fusion imagery/polyvalent symbolism that is found in the book.
She has four referents: Israel, the Church, Eve, and Mary.
She is Israel because she is associated with the sun, the moon, and twelve stars. These symbols are drawn from Genesis 37:911, in which the patriarch Joseph has a dream of the sun and moon (symbolizing his father and mother) and stars (representing his brothers), which bow down to him.

It's not the only time in the bible a city is used to represent a nation, or something small is used to represent something relative. Afterall a nation is nothing more than a big city. She does in fact represent what we will call a nation or even nations.

I agree with theonewillcome that the first beast is the The Roman Catholic Church because Rev chapt. 7-10 says "The 7 heads are the 7 hills on which the woman sits on" Currently, the woman (the Bible refers a woman to a church - a harlot is an evil church) is the Vatican Church that is surrounded by the 7 hills. She is drunk with the blood of the saints because of the Papal's Inquisition on early Christians who didn't believe in the Catholic teachings. Read more about the Vatican. God bless!

I did not waste my time because people have been blessed by this and have stated so. If you don't understand it, do ask questions. I don't mind. Maybe this will help: Babylon the Great represents all of persecution done against the church & the innocent. The whore wears a title saying "Babylon the Great" only because she is a nation that will do more persecution than ever before. This happens during the trib. The beast in Rev 13 isn't the same as the beast in this chapter...

The scarlet beast is representative of Rome. America is the new Rome. The land of many waters,the beast that was,and is not,yet shall be (yet is.) The fundementalists have missed the meaning, and I'm afraid are in for a big surprise. The rest will most likely be suspect to the possibilities. So be it. It is another part of life.

For many years it seemed that the Roman catholic church is the great whore Babylon. However, the closer we get to the end of the age, the more revelation 17&18 seems to be describing America. The only problem with this interpretation were with the "seven mountains" and the "blood of the martyrs" However, it dawned on me that If Rome is the "seven mountains" It could be referring to the fact that our democracy is based on the Roman form of government. Blood of the martyrs anyone..?

The scriptures are more mysterious than people assume when they lean on their own understanding. The part in revelation about the seven hills was predicting more than 1 thing. "The seven hills are also seven kings" revelation says. It was really predicting 7 political forces of the future nation that was prophesied as the harlot. But at the same time, it was purposely predicting or pointing to the Roman Catholic Church in Rome because the RCC became the greatest form of Babylon the great so far.

It should ALWAYS give one pause when someone stands up and says that God has shown them something.Dude,revelation 18 talks about the "merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies". and And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple..etc. How do you say that Babylon is an activity? No you be careful. You are not paying attention to what Rev 18 says. It should ALWAYS give one pause when someone says God shows them something, why? Because God doesn't speak anymore, right? He's no longer the God we read of in the bible? The merchants and stuff you mentioned did not belong to Babylon the great. Get your quotes straight. They belonged to the whore who bore the title of Babylon the Great...

...Babylon the great is simply the persecution of God's saints. It is not a geographical nation, it is an activity. Even though Rome didnt precisely sit on seven hills, it was called the city on seven hills and God had purposely used this chapter of Revelation to forecast the horror Rome became. Just like Jesus spoke to the seven churches and yet at the same time forecasted future church eras/categories. However, the higher and central meaning of the chapter is what I said in this video...

There are 2 beasts of Rev the first one is the Papacy and the second is the US. The second will make an image to the first, as it will copy it in it's persecution of the saints, the real deception being it will be protestants that will persecute the saints under the control of the vatican. Sunday laws will be once again enforced with deadly consequences for those who fail to adhere.
