i miss the old e class bodies but the 2004 e class for e500 !special edition! was the best body i know ur like wtf is that? there r only 54 made all over the world as special edition e500 which is almost as fast as e55 the reason its not is cause its heavier then the S class because mercedes didnt the e55 to be slower then the e500 even though it was special edition

Remember folks, this was RAW power. This car came out at times when fuel efficiency/downsizing was unheard of.... Love the E55 more than any E63. That torque is just unbelievable.

It's solid in moderate speed, even when a bit fast but the Airmatic makes you feel unconnected somewhat. Even is Sport Mode it doesn't have the M5's feel and steering. I'm actually going to get KW Coilovers which some people have done, will post vid but those should make the handling way better and give better feet. Lighter wheels, brakes and better tyres will also help alot. It's a heavy car and it never lets you forget it.
