Bro,I dig your acoustic soul style. Question though, who are you trying to communicate with? I don`t know how to be clear on this point. The shirt off and the homey style is sooo played out. I imagine you want to keep the free spirit vibe, dig. But, first impressions are crucial and there seems to be this wonderful transformation once you start singing. The soul style, to me, is more of a humble straight forward style. Anyways, one man`s opinion.

When you first started singing, your voice captivated my attention, it was smooth & you hit a perfect note, that first line was simply beatiful. It would be interesting to hear you sing a different genre such as rock, this is always a good way to know the versitility of your voice. I had never heard any other version of this song. The original had been my favorite for decades. I think your version, out of all the others, is supirior. The Cadence you gave the lyrics made it modern and sharp. Loose the Whitny Houston bird slides unless you can Nail them each time. Llook at Mel Torme. His Warbles and slides are mens vocal classics. Your voice is PERFECT and needs little polish. Adjusting more like it. I imagine you with full on orchestra behind you. Concider Live theater.
