  • I get only 80 to 110gr of protein per day, all natural from food, not even whey protein, and work out 4-5 times a week, and god i see very much diference to my body.. I weight 74kg now, i've lost 23kg and i did get 3 times stronger in 10 months...I think protein ovedose 150gr++ is pure marketing...

  • Wow! great contribution! I should be trying this too! Since bodybuilding will also need a good workout plan, let me share this site I found recently specially for beginners. They're offering programs for losing weight, body building & gaining lean muscles. It's for free so it wasn't easy to find. I couldn't post the site here so just check out my profile.

  • Good advice - I dont use even a gram per lb and I get good results. Like you I weigh about 200lbs too.

  • I totally agree with you guys on the .7-1.0 grms of protein per lbs of body weight. I have noticed that 150-200 grms a day for a bodybuilder between 170-200 lbs only requires that amount in a day.

  • These guys know what they are talking about. I did the exact same thiing and ate shit loads of meats and protiens and i was just getting fat and on top of it it extremely taxing on the stomach to digest the ridicualous amount of protein- i got gas, diarrahea etc. RESPECT To these guys

  • Nutrition in general is the most important part (along with proper rest) and arguably the most difficult to get under wraps. Working out is easy.

  • @CandidCarl I agree, I find working out the easiest part, but my diet is such a struggle every day. After years of trying i'm still searching for the perfect diet for me.

  •  i have a serious question, how can i make my metabolism faster? cause it used to be fast, and then i started taking protein shakes, creatine and a bunch of other shit, and it slowed my metabolism so bad. i was 150 last april, now im 190, and dont feel too comfortable at this weight, i want to be like at 175. i exercise, eat healthy, and lift weights daily, but nothing is working. i feel like im just continuing to gain weight. which is a problem, cause now i have to buy a whole new wardrobe, lol

  • @BREAKTHECODE2222009 if you dont care ill share what i think,, the more muscle you have the faster the metabolism is. so if not alot of the 190 is muscle then your metabolism will be slower then it would be if most of it was muscle if that makes sence haha. If i was you, i would cut back on the protein to once or twice a week after a hard workout, then get all your other protein sources from nautral seeds and nuts. If you need to only take anything else, take a pre work out too.
