I cannot believe what D'Souza is saying starting at 7:14. First, that there are 2 religious streams in the world. So animism, nature religions don't count? Then he goes on to say that the difference between Catholicism and Protestantism is the view on transubstantiation. He says they agree on 99% of core doctrines. Is he really that ignorant? No one should debate this guy again, they are legitimizing an incompetent.

This was a disappointment after seeing Dinesh debate some other, more intellectual, Atheists. I have never heard of Loftus, but his arguments were embarrassing, to say the least. It goes without saying that Dinesh won the debate, but it wasn't because (necessarily) of the absolute strength of his arguments, but because he didn't have an adversary that deserves the name. The Hitchens debate, I thought, was much more stimulating.
Some of the comments on this page are almost as intelligent as Loftus's arguments. What an embarrassment! D'Souza is a giant compared to Loftus. But when he argues against someone of such low intellectual quality, he is unfortunately reduced significantly. A much better debate is with Prager and Hitchens. Too bad about Loftus. I've never seen Atheism look so stupid.

NASA has shown as well as the USA Airforce have done experiments which show that near death experiences are ways in which the brain tries to deal with lack of oxygen and possible collapse. Jesus freaks are such liars. If there was such a thing as the after life, lets go to the Amazon and get some of those people who have alterantive beliefs and see how their near death experiences are. dam liars
@CamAtheist Dinesh could be unaware of the tings you mention, that does not make him deserve such a tirade unless he did know, secretly. I am a Christian; but I do not think the things people see when they are near death is given by God. I too think it is because of the lack of oxygen.

NDEs are not experiences of being dead. These people are NOT dead. They are alive. Absurd to claim otherwise. They are Christians. They spout platitudes they have read in the Bible: heaven. light, hell and other cliches. Never do we get the location of buried treasure or where Jimmy Hoffa is, or when's the next earthquake.
Penn and Teller will be remembered for a very short time. Dinesh will go down in history as one of the greatest Christian apologists of all time. I reminds me of how Roman Emperor Nero was so esteemed as opposed to the lowly Jewish convert to Christianity Paul of Tarsus. Today, however, we call our sons Paul, and our dogs Nero. History, people, is His story - God's.
