However, making sure to remain hydrated, practicing good oral hygeine, and using products like Biotene, designed for those who take meds that reduce saliva, help enormously. The clinics do not urge people to taper off methadone because the relapse rate is 90%--to do so would be unethical medicine. There are many people who need treatment to immediately replace anyone who leaves, it's not about money.
Glad to hear you are doing better. Sounds like your taper is going well--you are doing it the right way and that makes a HUGE difference! Methadone treatment works great for many people but it's not for everyone. However, sometimes permanent changes can occur in the brain chemistry of opiate abusers where they no longer produce endorphins--for them, methadone rebalances the brain chemistry and relieves the depression and anhedonia. I cant stand those retarded fucks that act as if they know about methadone more than us when ya im same as you i have been researching for 5 yrs and know alot too. If you can get help detoxing your last 10mgs your lucky i dont think here in the states my insurance would cover anything like that but I fear the last amount too but if you have parents or someone to get your daughter through it you should be ok. Im on58mgs coming down 1mg a wk so i will be there soon so we can pray for one another!
hi girl i just want to comment too on stuff your saying bout the meth death juice lol umm yes yes yes it does for a fact fuck the teeth up im a living witness and yes to bones and with the teeth many ppl dont know it that it reduces your saliva which in turn makes your teeth more vulnerable to bacteria and decay. I have been taking calcium for a few yrs now for the bones but the clinics want to get it in your head that its all ok for you so you wont get scared and stop. Cont.....

I had really horrible anxiety around cute guysLOL and other people...girls. because when I saw a cute guy I would get really nervous and my stomach felt like butterflys...I still get nervous around really cute guys. There's this boy on the Methadone clinic and he is really cute...I always try to talk to him just so I can stare at him, but I always get scared and do not talk. So that goes to show that I am still a VERY OVERLY SHY person.

The wrong meds suck a fat dick, like me. I'm serious! I was on Zoloft and it made me feel like a Zombie. But now I am on some better stuff.
