This movie didn't follow it's title. Why is it named what it is and then does something totally different! It's a damn slap in the face for the Hmong meka niam tsev.
Should've been called Poj Niam quav txiaj, txiv neej laus quav paum, hluas nkauj thaib teb quav nyiaj.
i don't think the title of this movie suits this movie. the title should be "yawglaus ntshaw nkauj hluas" or something about he goes to laos for 2nd wife. the story about "pojniam quavtxiaj" is irrelevant to the story anymore after the first 15 minutes of the movie.
this movie so fit for all the hmong old men from u.s. for real.....lolz. this guy represent it so well. he even love wearing suits/ties all the time, doesn't matter to the park or sitting at home. hehhee

Your parents only give it to you once, use it wisely and only use it for the one you LOVE. Most importantly, RESPECT YOUR SELF! A good person will not want to be a HOOKER.
@microbiologiest You see nothing yet, I saw some men are a lot older than this movie guy, the men who went to Laos are old b/c they rich than the younger men.... One life to live let they do what they want...If I were the Hmong girl in Laos I will do the same like Zuag Lor too b/c the Green stuff... No money then no honey,if these Og go in to Laos ..
I can't stand watching this movie b/c that old man is way too old for her, but good storyline. I know a lot of old men vs. old women go to Laos to marry younger brides there. I find it as disgusting.
