here to many horses are sent to slaughter cause some people just dont care or the can't afford to keep them .WELL THE LEAST YOU CAN DO IS GIVE THEM AWAY!!AS I am sure that alot of ppl would take them !!!! make me mad grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I dont agree with the way canada is INHUMANLY SLAUGHTERING THEM , IT'S THE WAY AND THE WORKERS THAT WORK IN THESE STUPID COW PLANTS AND THE HORSE CAN SEE THE 1 BEFORE GETTING INHUMANLY KILLED THIS IS NOT RIGHT 1 BIT CHECK OUT BILL C-322

the horses that end up in CANADA are slaughtered very inhumanly ,as were trying to end this ,mr.ritz is the one who is the liar!!!

I hate the thought of horse slaughter, but without it horses become highly over populated and become abandoned, starved, and neglected. I am from America where it was ended, and now we are bringing it back because horses are dying all over from starvation and we cannot afford to properly keep them anymore. I'm glad that it is coming back. Its sad but its better than them starving slowly. The methods Canada and America use are much more humane than those of Mexico.

@Equestrian08 I am not trying to be rude, but...
1) People are way over-populated, and people all over the world are being starved, homeless, and abandoned. Should we send them to the slaughter house?
2) I have a way to stop this, make it illegal to breed horses, so only a certain amount can be bred a year per country, same with every other the animal.
