@bernhearted the band is booker t and the MG's. so im asuming that steve cropper is on lead guitar.
it was at the 30th anniversay of Bob Dylan being a recording artist, so i think 92/93. it was held at madison square garden

I think he left the world at the perfect time to be honest. He would be so under appreciated by the majority techno/rave/cRAP "music" loving population. He left, leaving behind the heaviest imprint on his genre and music in general. I'd hate to see him go today, right after a "bitch" ranting rapping grandma. I'll probably get gruff for this, but it's definitely true.

techno/rave/rap are just popular among the youngsters, passing trends. they will come to pass, just like disco did. true music will always be appreciated. George would probably smile at all this, making a wry comment...and so should we, i think...

Pure Genius is George - is it just me or is there an aura around George? Sadly Missed. Thanks for posting this - it opens further the reappraisal of George as a Beatle and as a truly great performer in his own right. Inspirational.
