Motorola RAZR2 v9m Unbox

hi there, i just have 1 question. does this phone the v9m software that it came with can it work with the v3??? if not is there a place where i can download it?

i think the software that came with the v9m (Motorola Phone Tools) should work with the v3... It should be backwards compatible... if not you can buy it from Motorola.

its a great phone at frist but when u get to useing it alot like texting on it it will start to piss u off battrey life sucks

its pretty wide, almost wider than the original razr... and because of the phone lacking the "hump" the razr had, it feels alot longer and almost awkward to hold at first... but you get used to it and its nice

The AT&T Razr2 is way better the keys are better looking. And its just way better.

Hey, you had the Rokr z6m and the Razr2. Which do you prefer?

well i had no problems with the rokr, as now i sometimes will not recieve notification of a call coming in until it reaches voicemail and i get a message. But i like the razr2 a bit more

i havent heard of this at all...mine charges all the time... im not sure why the phone wouldnt charge

The v8 is the unlocked GSM version without 3G... the v9 in america is normally locked to at&t and has 3G. the v9m is a locked CDMA phone for Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular, Alltel, and the like

yes, it has three touch sensitive areas... the v9 for at&t only uses the touchscreen for the music player, but the v9x from at&t has it for movies and pictures and the music player

well.. my razr2 came with 95mb of INTERNAL memory.. no card included... and if you want a smart phone with a bigger screen.. go for the instinct... but the razr2 is still a cool looking phone

well the instinct has a higher capacity battery, less memory, higher resolution display, and other than that... everything is pretty much the same

well i havent seen the tmoible dash... but i heard its cool... so i would say the tmobile dash... but the tmobile version of the razr2 has 2gb of internal memory

k i am looking at the spot where the battery goes and theres a tab....im i supose to put the battery in but make the tab show or to let the battery lay on top of the tab?..then yeaa of course i put the battery in with the tab showing then i put the charger in there...nd as soo as i put the charger in there do i turn the phone on or let it fully charge? but i charged the phone over night nd in the morning it didnt ant to turn on!?

well let the tab show.. that is there to remove the battery. once the battery is snug in there, put the battery cover on and plug it in. when the screen says either charging or charge complete.. hold down the red button until the phone turns on

okay.. its about 6 quarters thick... so pretty thin... ACS is (Alaska Communications Systems)... but the OS and everything will be the same on the Alltel and USCellular versions of the V9m...

the screen is very crisp...both the outside and inside displays are very easy to read text on... the keypad is nice enough to text on as well
